Re: WVD W10 w/Office365 PP & Outlook Signin issues
WillSomervilleHey Thanks for confirming the same issue. When you had issues on a users profile which steps besides RegKeys did you take? Regkey server reboot users outlook profile reset users -userprofile delete or something else perhaps? I'm asking because we implemented the regkeys, reboot, outlook profile reset and this didn't help. We ended up deleting the users entire VHD before we could login. I mean if this is whats needed then we do that... because otherwise i'm missing some steps .. Thanks for continued comments and patience.4.4KViews0likes1CommentRe: WVD W10 w/Office365 PP & Outlook Signin issues
mmarti1223Yeah it is a very frustrating error and our client are becomming more and more impatient. Well it looks like we are getting closer and closer to a solution. would have hoped for something like this to have been anticipated by Microsoft when they publish a 'complete solution' for WVD and O365PP but i Guess thats just the way it is 😛 I have created theese two regkeys for HKEYCU: "EnableADAL=0" and "DisableADALatopWAMOverride=1" And there are no other funny regkeys for this? Edit: today had a user with problem, removed outlook profile, removed %appdata% microsoft\outlook contents and tried to recreate outlook. Unfortunately this did no change. So problem persist despite above regkeys...4.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: WVD with just Azure AD
we've been through this with a customer. they started up with classic on-prem AD w/AAD sync to Office365/Azure AD. after a sync we broke this connection and made all users 'cloud only'. then deployed Azure AD DS and created the 'application host group' with 2 Win10 w/o365 customer have now been running on this for 3 weeks. and no its not as easy as it sounds in my description 😛 and we still have issues with outlook and signing even tough i think we got a break yesterday night. so overall it looks good. remember that AAD --> AAD DS is oneway sync and your DC's are managed by engineers in US so you cant logon to them and cant access shares/sysvol and such. You cant move users out of the AADCusers group (e.g. no OU segmentation) and have to put all GPO's in one OU and use security filtering...5.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Turn of printer redirection
Sascha StopsYes Printer Redirection is a machine policy but if you enable Group Policy Loopback setting = Merge then you can get computer policies in effect. This is a GPO i've deployed through Azure Active Directory Domain Services and just for fun its in Danish 😛 But basically it does the following: 1. group Back Policy lookback mode (Merge). Heres a link that describes it: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/askds/2013/02/08/circle-back-to-loopback/ The rest is 'as we say' just the basic stuff... e.g. no printer redirection, Limitation of max numbers of monitors redirected, no COM/LPT ports, Timelimit for disconnected user sessions and such. p.s. if you want this GPO to affect a group or user then you have to set it in Security Filtering if its via AAD DS as you cant segment via OUs otherwise if traditional DC then just link the GPO to the corresponding OU.3.8KViews0likes0CommentsWVD W10 w/Office365 PP & Outlook Signin issues
Hello We have deployed an Win10 Image from Azure w/Office365 & Installed FXLogics. users signin, get a VHD from fileserver and all looks good. Open Outlook and signin and create profile. user works for a day then logs off and back on later. Here the trouble begin because now outlook hangs with 'Password Required'. When we click this see for a splitsecond a white screen which dissapears again. This looks and appears as the 'signin' from Offie 365. If we then decide to remove the outlook profile we can't create a new one as Outlook wont show a signin dialouge. we just get the 'are you this user' or 'diagnose errors'. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.4.5KViews2likes7Comments
