Re: Issues with Windows 11 Autopilot Hybrid Joined Since last Week
This may require a deep dive, but you can start by checking for some basics - is the device assigned with an AP profile? Has the process ever worked? Do you need to check for the Intune endpoints for network\FW connectivity etc?497Views0likes2CommentsRe: MDE vs Intune Windows Device Management
If you are using MDE tagging, then most likely you would have enabled the Defender connector in Intune along with toggling on Configuration management feature. You don’t need to offboard the devices. However, for full Intune mangement, you will need to enroll the devices in Intune and make sure that devices are not MDE tagged anymore. Your MDE policies would be synced with Intune as well so you can continue using them as is.94Views0likes1CommentRe: Understanding DEM accounts and licensing
DEM is meant for bulk enrolment and mostly for useless devices. You only require a a single user license per DEM account. Please note there are limitations attached to the DEM account. Especially if you are looking to assign user based policies.64Views0likes0CommentsRe: Enroll existing macOS devices to Intune
If you are looking at corporate then the devices will need to be supervised and for that they will need to be reset and enrolled using an ADE profile. If you don’t want to reset then enrolling through Company Portal app is the best way. You can always change the ownership later which will give you some additional admin controls like escrowing if filevault recovery key and stuff.49Views0likes0CommentsRe: Intune integration with Kaspersky EDR Optimum: can it replace Defender for Business?
As far as I know, there is no integration. But that is true for pretty much all non MS security products. From a setup perspective, you can install Kaspersky agent on Intune manage devices, and have the alerts configured into Defender using a SIEM solution. I cannot comment on the use of Kaspersky itself as I have not worked with it and none of my customers are using it. Everything will come down to your security requirements and the budget for licensing. If you are approaching this purely from an administrative angle, then using Defender for Endpoint integrated with Intune is the way to go.42Views0likes0Comments
