Mailings tab in word 365 loads slow
When the Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, and Japanese languages are included in the office package and installed on the machine along with other languages, the mailings ribbon loads in around 1 min but If I remove these 3 languages from the package, it loads quickly. Note - Machine default language set as English. Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, and Japanese build MUIs are also installed.Solved941Views0likes1CommentRe: Mailings tab in word 365 loads slow
This issue is resolved. The fix is to copy cenvelop.dll and JPCARD20.dll in %programfiles%\Microsoft Office\root\office16 from %programfiles%\Microsoft Office\root\office16\ADDINS folder The mailings tab starts loading instantly. Note - There is no official confirmation from MS yet for the above fix.855Views0likes0CommentsMailings tab ribbon loading is slow when chinese and Japanese addins are installed
Did anyone notice this issue with the office package where the Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, and Japanese languages are included and installed on the machine along with other languages? If I remove these 3 languages from package, mailings tab load quickly but there is delay in loading of around 1 min if above mentioned languages are installed. Note - Machine default language set as English. Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, and Japanese build MUIs are also installed.357Views0likes0CommentsRe: New Microsoft 365 apps update channel names, new IT Pro guidance and a new channel!
Eric_Wayne How we consider the bugs found in the semi-annual channel but no problem in the preview? Even the consecutive month's release(SM 2002) did not fix any of the issues. how this works in above scenario?5.9KViews0likes2CommentsRe: New Microsoft 365 apps update channel names, new IT Pro guidance and a new channel!
Eric_Wayne May I know what percentage of Enterprises(>50K users) adopted which channels? We are struggling with semi-Annual Channel and planning to move to Monthly because of many product bugs.5.9KViews0likes11CommentsModify officeUI file using powershell
Hi Guys, I have some custom office ribbon settings already and so files like word.officeui are present on the machine. I need to modify Acrobat DC addin tab in common office applications, like hiding a particular button. I have powershell script which creates new officeUI files if not present and it is working. However I have to modify the file using powershell. Currently I am able to add the content of new settings in child node. However, I have to add xmlns:x1="PDFmaker.OfficeAddin" in <mso:customUI xmlns:x1="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2009/07/customui/macro" xmlns:mso="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2009/07/customui"> and replace macro settings if exist. Also I have to add logic to modify the incorrect settings. ex-if button is restored by the user. Thanks2.3KViews0likes0Comments
