I found that using FireFox helped with this, AND the Azure account that you create to register with the managed play account MUST have a first and last name assigned (not just a user name), else the above error will occur, as the required fields in the registration process are automatically pre-populated blank, with no option to change.314Views0likes0CommentsRe: Managed google play connection fails at last step.

Hi. not sure if I’m just being dumb, but it seems such a basic thing. I’ve created a purview retention policy, and I want to assign it to specific mailboxes. I seem to only have the option of “all users” or manually specify individual mailboxes. No option to select security groups…? thanks for the info. I just reinstalled the 5 laptops in question. Microsoft (via O365/Azure support portal) provided no help. I gave them the link to this discussion, and they just closed the case after I said I reinstalled them! It appears to be related to the new Azure Cloud Sync (not AD connect). My specific tenant in question used to have AD Connect installed (but it was removed a couple of years ago), so I am unsure if this played a part in the corruption? this didn't work for me the first few times either. tried a week later and it worked....? use the following: Connect-SPOService "https://domain-admin.sharepoint.com" Set-SPOTenant -DisableAddShortCutsToOneDrive $True you can use "Get-SPOTenant" to see if it has worked - the parameter is actually listed as "DisableAddToOneDrive", but using this parameter doesn't work (you have to use the one listed above) I wanted this disabled, as over the last year a couple of users have "somehow" deleted the whole sharepoint document library, and I'm pretty sure it's something to do with this shortcut (as discussed in below article) https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/deleting-a-sharepoint-shortcut-to-onedrive/c5cfc06b-a87b-48a8-bc83-cba045f9372016KViews2likes0CommentsRe: O365 Online Archiving Not Working
had same issue when trying to enable in-place archive for a user. realised that using the Office 365 PST import utility to bulk import mailboxes automatically enables retention hold, thus you need to change it to false for in-place archive to start working!130KViews5likes0Comments- 23KViews0likes0Comments
