Re: Account deleted, but still able to chat
Same issue here. The accepted answer does not help. Users can still send chat messages to disabled and deleted user accounts. Those users can't login and won't see the message but the person sending the message has no idea the user account was deleted. If you clear Teams cache then the account may show up in Teams as Unknown but current users can still send them messages which wastes their time. Sending them messages should be blocked or there should be a status message saying the account is no longer active.1.7KViews0likes0CommentsAutopilot Hybrid Azure AD Joined Duplicate device is Non Compliant
According to the documentation, there should be a duplicate device in Azure AD but it should show N/A under Compliant but instead it says No, Not Compliant. I also noticed both devices show up in a group with the rule (device.managementType -eq "MDM") even though Azure AD says None. Only the Hybrid Joined device is actually in Intune. Any idea what could be causing this?1.5KViews0likes0CommentsSensitivity Label Edit permission behavior in Teams vs Desktop app
I'm trying to apply permissions to an excel file using sensitivity labels. One group only needs read access. They do not need to save changes to the file but they would like to manipulate the data. For example, they would like to make calculations and charts but then close the file without saving it. Initially they could not do anything to the file with only View rights so I added Edit content(DOCEDIT) rights. That seems to work when viewing the file in the desktop excel app. None of the changes seem to be saved. However, when viewing the same excel file within Teams, all the changes are saved. Why is the behavior different in Teams vs. Desktop app? Should the user be able to make changes to the file even though Save is not enabled?Solved1.1KViews0likes1CommentSupervision policies are missing from communication compliance
I created some Supervision policies a long time ago in the Office 365 portal \ protection.office.com. The policies are still active because I see them in Outlook on the web and they are still collecting messages. However, when I go to the new communication compliance in purview, I only see 1 of 3 policies. How can I access the other two policies to delete them? ThanksSolvedOffice 365 Supervision being replaced by nothing?
I have Microsoft 365 Business. When I go to the Compliance center and click on Supervision, it works fine but I see this message at the top: "Good news! Communication compliance is now available in the Microsoft 365 compliance center. We recommend using this solution moving forward to take advantage of richer capabilities, including customizable policy templates, flexible remediation workflows, and more." If I click Try it out now, I'm taken to a free trial MS 365 E5 Compliance Trial page to try it for 1 month. According to the documentation: "The supervision solution in Office 365 will be fully replaced by the communication compliance solution in Microsoft 365." So now I have Supervision but once it's fully replaced, I won't have anything unless I upgrade to E5??Solved6.3KViews0likes3CommentsSAML Authentication - Azure AD license requirements?
I've set up a couple apps with SAML and they work great. However, we're looking to switch users to the Microsoft 365 Business license really not sure what license we need for SAML auth to work. I set up one user with this license and it works but I've been trying to find some official information. Currently we use Office 365 Premium plus Enterprise Mobility + Security E3 and Office 365 ATP. It seems we could probably replace all those with Microsoft 365 Business but I want to be sure that we'll have this SAML feature afterward. ThanksRe: Tab in TEAMS channel for call queue
I have the feature enabled but it doesn't seem to work properly. Call history is totally different from agent to agent. The button to leave the call queue keeps reverting back and doesn't really work so I still need to go to settings to leave the queue. I was only able to get voicemail to show up once after logging out and back into Teams. Can't get it to show up again. Are these known issues?6.1KViews1like0CommentsRe: Push to talk for Samsung Xcover Pro
luvsql By the way, you can use the button and in settings change it to open any app but to have it do a function within an app like push to talk within the teams app, that's where the need to use intune\knox comes into play. I think that's because it's an OEM level type of change to the button. Again, it could be more of a Samsung requirement to use MDM software (intune or similar) along with a knox license.8KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Push to talk for Samsung Xcover Pro
luvsql It's in public preview so it hasn't been generally released but you can enable it. You have to enable it through the Teams Admin Center. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/walkie-talkie After that, wait a while and the walkie talkie feature will show up in the Android App. To get the button working, you have to follow the other link I posted previously. Because it's a hardware button, I think the requirement to use knox to configure the button probably has more to do with Samsung than Microsoft. Really you just need a knox license that you add to intune. Everything is still done through intune.8KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Push to talk for Samsung Xcover Pro
luvsql I was able to get the button working by following these steps. During the process you have to sign up for knox trial unfortunately. Everything else is done through Intune. https://insights.samsung.com/2020/06/29/how-to-program-buttons-on-your-galaxy-xcover-pro/8.2KViews0likes4CommentsRe: SAML Authentication - Azure AD license requirements?
ChrisWebbTech The https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/active-directory/ makes it sound like I could use up to 10 apps from the gallery. One of the apps I set up was in the gallery but the instructions I received from the vendor had me create a new app. I could probably redo it using the gallery (pre-integrated) option if needed but still not sure if that's needed at this point. It seems to work fine at the moment.29KViews0likes0CommentsRe: SAML Authentication - Azure AD license requirements?
VasilMichevYes, I'm asking about M365, not O365. It doesn't seem like that's entirely accurate which is why the answer is so difficult to find. Here's what I read in the FAQ https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/business/support/microsoft-365-business-faqs#does-azure-active-directory-premium-p1-come-with-microsoft-365-business Microsoft 365 Business is built on technology from across Microsoft and while it shares some features with Azure Active Directory, it is not a full version. The security and management policies created in Microsoft 365 Business rely on some Azure functionality but does not include all features (e.g. self-service features, conditional access features, and reporting). Customers may choose to purchase Azure Active Directory Premium P1 or P2 as an add-on to Microsoft 365 Business. Please see the https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/servicedescriptions/microsoft-365-service-descriptions/microsoft-365-business-service-description for more information Can you tell by the Service Description if SAML is included or not?30KViews0likes3CommentsRe: intune using AFW same device registered twice direct and EAS
I'm having a similar issue where the device shows up in Intune twice, once as Android and once as Outlook. I'm using O365, and Intune with hybrid mdm, nothing on premise. I do have EAS set to quarantine new devices until we approve them. Would turning that off solve the problem?2.7KViews0likes0Comments
