Re: Dev Channel update to 130.0.2808.0 is live.
I can't open links directly on Edge Dev anymore after this update. By clicking on a link on MS Teams or any other external application, MS Edge Dev is launched (as the default browser), and just stays in the home page. Also, some video players are not working on Edge Dev anymore. They do work on the current Edge stable version. I'm not following the change log very closely, so both of these behaviors may be expected and I'm just not aware of.2.6KViews1like4CommentsRe: "You cannot send messages to this bot", chat with bot issue in microsoft teams
Same case here. The bot is not deployed yet. We're using the testing links directly. Maybe they broke Teams with this new policy option. Also, it started today to also happen on classical Teams. Now nobody can exchange messages with any bots. Dang...28KViews0likes5CommentsRe: Azure Bot not available after updating to New Teams "You cannot send messages to this bot"
Interesting! Maybe something in the publishing (manifest) settings? My 4 bots aren't published as an app, I've just shared the direct link with a few people in my organization. I thought this was the problem, but, apparently, no 😕Re: "You cannot send messages to this bot", chat with bot issue in microsoft teams
Same issue, but only on the New Teams (23285.3604.2469.4152), for all bots. This has been going for a few months, now. Only when using the new Teams. The quick message through the "Contacts" menu works, as tokarczyk_jacek mentioned.29KViews0likes8CommentsRe: Dev channel update to 82.0.425.3 is live
josh_bodner Any news on the "sign in while running as an admin" limitation/feature? Last time I understood that it had external dependencies to be fixed by other teams before Edge could support it. Any feedback from those teams? Thanks!!6.3KViews0likes1CommentRe: Dev channel update to 80.0.320.3 is live
josh_bodner After the update, I can't sign-in with my MS account while running Edge as Administrator. I always run Edge and all other applications as administrator to avoid multiple issues with VS and other software. Please rollback this change! Thanks!1.9KViews0likes1CommentRe: Dev channel update to 78.0.276.2 is live
cjc2112 Basically, every site that still uses ActiveX (almost all "chinesium" IP Cams relied on ActiveX to play the live video for years, maybe decades) is dependent on IE. I also happen to know an enterprise web app that interacts with the local scanner for digitizing documents and upload it to the app via ActiveX. For what I'm told, there are many enterprise applications still relying on IE for working correctly.16KViews0likes0Comments
