Hi everyone, I need people in my organization to be able to add an item through a powerapp form to a list, but I do not want them to have permission go into the list directly and edit items. It would even be better if they could not see that the list exists. symm_adrian are you opening it in the application excel or in the online version? And if online are you using Edge or Chrome? I just discovered that using Edge to open Word files also automatically records the modification even if there is no change. That's a big problem. Gah! I know I am doing something simple and stupid, or maybe it is just a well known glitch, but this happens about 33% of the time I add a form to a sheet. There's a space in the form that I cannot pull any field into, like the second row, second column in this one. I haven't changed any sizes of, well anything. And it didn't happen when I first added it, just after a reorganization of the fields. And I have literally seen it fix itself overnight, but only once. Really annoying! So, I am not a quickchart expert at all, but I do think it takes a manual update as far as my research shows. But it seems there is a flow step that you can use to create a new chart when an item is updated. Here's a bit of documentation about what you can do with Power Automate and quickcharts. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/quickchartip/ Excel should update its internal charts by itself. I need a few clarifications here. First, the first spreadsheet, you are populating with a flow? Why? A form will directly update a spreadsheet on your site if you connect it to the group. Second, why is the second sheet needed? Could you directly upload the data to a list and then do a little filtering/grouping in a view? Yes, you can directly load data into a list using Power Automate. Steps are "When a form is submitted" trigger and "Create a new item" in the SharePoint Power Automate Tasks. Pretty sure there's a template for that. But I might not quite understand what you are doing with the spreadsheets. I would connect the flows directly to the form, rather than daisychain several based on spreadsheet updates.Effects of a term store item change

If you change or delete a term store term, will that change the term everywhere it has been chosen already or delete it? Hi all, I am trying to embed a one question poll card into an email. I go through the process of clicking poll, customizing it and say add to email. What comes up is a link. Ok, fine, that is what I am supposed to see, but when it goes out, it fails to turn into the poll card and only shows the link to everyone. The poll is short and only goes to our employees. Hmmm. That view is good, but for some reason, several of the key content type fields for event seem to be unavailable, such as recurrence, all day and workspace, essentially making the content type unusable. Is there another content type that should be used for a calendar? I need those columns. In SharePoint Online in the Modern experience, the concept of a SharePoint Calendar (that allows you to add custom flows and such) doesn't really exist as far as I can tell. A group calendar doesn't really have the ability to add custom fields and forms. Teams Calendar is just limited in a ton of ways. Shifts doesn't really integrate with a SP page and doesn't really have a calendar view (as far as I can tell) and isn't really customizable. Event calendar that you can add as an app has a terrible interface and is not accessible to customize. So, what to use, when you need custom forms and custom flows? Are there third party apps? So, from what I have seen, SP Online's version of grid view is not really as responsive (as in responding, not screen size) as SP 2010. I have a heavy user of grid view-style work list. That list has attachments. I am trying to figure out a reasonable alternative. My first thought was a dataverse back on some app or even a grid style app into dataverse or heck even direct use of it (but I don't want to do that). Ok, I have a really weird one gang. So in 2010, when you opened an RTF file in Word, you could go to file - information - versions and open any version you wanted to see. Now in SharePoint Online there does not seem to be the view. You have to download the a previous version to see it. And if you do the same operation opening it through a synced library in explorer, it tells you to change it into a docx to turn on versioning. What the heck? Why the change? Hi all, Just like the subject says, I know that the documents folders stay in place after you delete a channel, but is the conversation also stored in Exchange or wherever for e-discovery purposes?
