Re: Change room mailbox that are synched from AD to pure cloud
Hi Marvin Oco If you are using Azure AD connect, I presume your Room mailbox was synced in Office 365 as user mailbox. In that case, you can convert this user mailbox to a room mailbox. You can use exchange online powershell and run "Set-Mailbox YourUser -Type Room" Also, here you can find more info: Create and manage room mailboxes | Microsoft Docs I hope this can help. Good luck!4.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Change room mailbox that are synched from AD to pure cloud
Hi Marvin Oco good morning. You can do it from Exchange Admin or by Powershell. Please, check this link, is old but can guide you. Hi elaheh good morning. What kind of Office 365 license you have? Keep in mind that not all the O365 licenses allow you to work with Desktop Apps. If you have the right license, you can log out from office Apps. Also, you can check your work & School account and delete your office 365 account from there and login back. If this can't work, I also recommend delete the cached credentials from Windows Security Vault and try again, but be sure you have the right O365 license. Here you have more info, about O365 licenses. Microsoft 365 with Office apps | Microsoft 365 I hope this can help. Good luck!7.2KViews0likes1CommentRe: MFA for one email account with several users
Hi Decomplexity good morning. You can´t by security design. Even you can set up multiple MFA instances, you need to decide which is the default MFA method. Maybe you can change the way MFA sends you the code like a shared mailbox accessed by serveral users, but very less secure. Another Idea is app password. I don´t know which is your current configuration ,but if you are accessing by web app to the exchange, you have more limitations. With App password you can configure Outlook App client directly. Also, you can limit access mailbox by IP address. I hope this can help you. Good luck!95KViews0likes1CommentRe: When does an account show up under Work or school account settings
Hi RippieUK good afternoon. What Windows 10 Version you have on the laptop and VM, is the same? Are you using Intune, are these computers enrolled MDM? I recommend you upgrade to 20H2. here you have more info. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/whats-new/whats-new-windows-10-version-20h2 I hope this can help you. Hi costasppc good morning. If you want to integrate SSO with on-premises AD, you will need Azure AD Premium P1 enabling the hybrid environment with Azure AD Connect. You have here more info about AD Premium P1 and what it is included. Secure app access with single sign-on (SSO) | Microsoft Security I hope this can help you. Hi PatrickF11 , thanks for coming back here. I only have experience in one customer for 10 devices with this requirement. We deployed Knox policies and with this plugin, a third-party deployed some configuration over a customized app. That´s all. I can not tell you more about this, being honest. Here you have more info. Knox Service Plugin (samsungknox.com) For me, the default Intune configuration and policies work in all customers, so, sorry if I cannot help you here more. Maybe you should open a case from your Admin portal. Nice day and Good luck.5.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Android Enterprise supported devices
Hi PatrickF11 good morning. Samsung Knox devices are compatibles with Intune without any doubt. Maybe the way to deploy Intune changed, but they are compatible. Here you have an article about Know Plugin and some info related with Intune. Step 1: Microsoft Intune - Add to UEM (samsungknox.com) I hope this can help you. Hi Turkmick good afternoon. It looks like you set up any invalidad character or file name, or path legths. To see hidden folder - files in OneDrive, You have to go to the library in Classic view with Internet Explorer and use File explorer. There, you should be able to view that folder and the content. Other option is try to sync locally your Onedrive and manipulate the folders from there Here you have more info about OneDrive limitations. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/invalid-file-names-and-file-types-in-onedrive-and-sharepoint-64883a5d-228e-48f5-b3d2-eb39e07630fa?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us I hope this can help you! Hi, good evening. You can only can see the group's membership from azure AD Portal. For Azure AD joined computers you can add additional administrators to the local computer, but querying the computer you can't see any groups. AD join is different as Azure AD join. Here you have a good article about how to add extra administrators to your local computer once is Azure AD joined. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/devices/assign-local-admin I hope this can help you. Hi m-emeraud , good morning. I don´t know how your collegues have Office Apps configured. Maybe they have it licensed already or they are in a trial period, but again, with E1, you can only open Email and Office Apps from the Web browser. Here you have more info about E1 licenses: Office 365 E1 | Microsoft If you want to open excel files from Office Excel Desktop APP, you should change your license. Please, now, if you have more queries about this or more clarifications, I recommend you open a ticket from your Office Admin portal - CSP. I am sure that someone from Microsoft Office Team can clarify you better, what you can or can´t do with E1. I hope this can help. Hi meggerz ! Well, the screenshot is the option to configure MFA. You have a couple of options here, like TEXT or Calls. Also you can deploy Hardware Tokens. From the MFA configuration options in Azure AD you can enforce what method you want to user within your organisation. SSPR will allow the users to change their passwords from Office, but they need to meet with at least 2 requirementes: MFA configured and an external email address (not company address). With this 2 options the users can change the pasword themselves. Here you have info about MFA options_Configure Azure AD Multi-Factor Authentication - Azure Active Directory | Microsoft Docs Here you have more info about SSPR_ Self-service password reset deep dive - Azure Active Directory | Microsoft Docs I hope this can help. Hi theLedger , good afternoon. Just for testings. Can you uninstall Powerpoint and install it again? Maybe an App update? Do you have the right Office license? If you tested in another IPad with different account, or the App it is wrong or you license is wrong. I hope this can help you! Hi jrngsg , good evening. Maybe your Azure AD MFA "remember multi-factor authentication settings" is Disabled. You can see this here: In the Azure AD portal, search for and select Azure Active Directory. Select Security, then MFA. Under Configure, select Additional cloud-based MFA settings. In the Multi-factor authentication service settings page, scroll to remember multi-factor authentication settings. You can find more info here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/authentication/concepts-azure-multi-factor-authentication-prompts-session-lifetime I hope this can help you. HI theLedger , good morning. Did you read the logs from Azure AD? Did you check if your tenancy is using APP Protection policies? Maybe there is the problem. If you are using APP Protection policies and this APP it is not included as listed or allowed Apps can be the problem. Here you have more info: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/app-protection-policy I hope this can help. Good luck!2.2KViews0likes2CommentsRe: "More information required" in partner tenant?
Hi meggerz , good morning. You can avoid this configuring Security groups on SSPR for the users you want to secure. I recommend give all users the possibility to change their own password from Office 365. If you are using Azure AD Connect and write-back options, this can update their passwords on-premises as well and works really well. You can find more info here. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/authentication/concept-sspr-howitworks I hope this can help you. Good luck!1.8KViews0likes2Comments
