Immersive Reader in Forms (non-EDU) - do you need this?
Recently we introduced Immersive Reader to Forms, in EDU only. You can learn more in our latest what's new blog Immersive reader is an accessibility feature that allows people of all reading abilities to utilize a product. It enables a full screen view, where you can control the size/color of text, have it read out loud, etc. It is optional, meaning only those that need it and click on it will actually launch into immersive reader. We are considering whether to bring it to Commercial(Business) users too, vs keep it as EDU only. Is there a need within your organization for this feature? Any feedback/stories you can share? Thanks! -jon Program Manager - Microsoft Forms997Views0likes0CommentsRe: Microsoft Forms anonymous responses
MarshalStha I just confirmed with developers. This was a bug and has been fixed and deployed as of 4/19 This only impacted polls created from a certain endpoint and only when the poll was later accessed in the browser. Can you please let us know if this poll was created after 4/19 or if this reproduces on any new polls going forward? Thanks! -jon1.8KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Quiz created in Forms is not available in TEAMS when trying to upload in Assignments Tab. Why?
Within Quiz Assignments you can only select a personal Quiz (non group quiz) and cannot select a Form. If group quiz - use the workaround suggested above. Use a template link to clone a copy into your personal area, then it will show up in the selector If form, you cannot use this in Quiz Assignment. Instead, use a non-quiz assignment, and then insert the Form by using the URL instead. Apologies. That documentation is out of date. Classification labels is something we do want to introduce to Forms later on. I'll get that documentation updated and please keep a lookout for future announcements for this functionality Thanks, -jon Senior Program manager - Microsoft Forms2.4KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Merge results of two separate forms?
Forms does not provide this functionality. However, I've seen people do this with Excel Scripting or PowerAutomate (Flow). If this is a one-off case, typically i recommend just exporting each to separate excel files and then copy pasting to merge the contents together Thanks, -jon Microsoft Forms - Senior Program Manager2.8KViews0likes0CommentsRe: MS Forms Incorrect Points
When multiple answers option is used, the student must then check ALL of the correct answers to get the answer correct. It currently is all or nothing. So if you set 3 answers as correct, and student only gets 2 of them, they get a 0. In the future we may support multiple choice partial credit, but currently that is not the case. group forms cannot be moved. If you use the template functionality to clone it into your personal forms area, it will show up in the My Forms area and be moveable. Great ask. We are tracking this as 2 separate items. The first is save & resume, where a user could save their progress and resume the response later. The second item is collaboration for a form responses, where multiple people could collaborate on response vs today where you can only collaborate at form creation time. The first ask, save & resume, is something we are actively discussing but no timeline to share at this time. The second is not in short/medium term plans, but might be something we consider in longer term Thanks, -jon Microsoft Forms - Senior Program manager81KViews4likes20CommentsRe: Recording who submitted the form from outside the org.
unfortunately no. The recommendation is to do it as you described. You need to include the required name questions and then do the mapping yourself at analysis time. Some people use excel formulas/scripting, or PowerAutomate (Flow) to automate this process, but this option is not built into forms directly. MarshalStha Was this a form, a quiz, or a Poll in Microsoft Teams? If normal form or quiz, was there a period of time where you had the form set to another mode, and had "Record Names" setting checked in the settings? Has this reproduced for you multiple times, or just the one time you shared below? Thanks, -jon Microsoft Forms - Senior Program manager1.9KViews0likes2Comments
