Re: Microsoft Intune for MSPs resource guide
This blog does not even touch on the most useful multi-tenant management tool available to Microsoft Partners AT NO ADDITIONAL Cost which is Microsoft 365 Lighthouse. This is certainly more of an advertisement for 3rd parties than actual information. Please revise to fully support, explain and help partners enable Microsoft 365 Lighthouse.730Views0likes0CommentsTeams Phone Needs 1st Party Call Center Native Dashboard Out of Box
We are a loyal customer of your Teams phone service, and we appreciate the many features and benefits it offers for our communication needs. However, we would like to request two important functionalities that are currently missing or inadequate in your service: Parked Calls and Call Center Dashboard. Parked Calls is a feature that allows us to place a call on hold on one device and pick it up from another device, using a unique code. This is very useful for scenarios where we need to switch devices, transfer calls, or collaborate with other agents. We know that you have some options for call parking in Teams, but they are not sufficient for our needs. For example, the Connect model requires us to use certified SBCs and Direct Routing, which adds complexity and cost to our infrastructure. The Extend model requires us to use Azure bots and Microsoft Graph Communication APIs, which are not easy to implement and maintain. The Power model, which promises to use an SDK to embed native Teams experiences in our app, is not yet available. We would like to have a simple and seamless way to park and retrieve calls within Teams, without relying on third-party solutions or complicated integrations. The Call Center Dashboard is a feature that allows us to monitor and analyze the quality and performance of our calls and meetings, using metrics and KPIs. This is very important for us to optimize our network, troubleshooting issues, and improve customer satisfaction. We know that you have a Call Quality Dashboard (CQD) for Teams, but it is not designed for contact center scenarios. For example, CQD does not provide real-time data, agent-level reports, call recording, or customer feedback. It also does not support advanced analytics, such as sentiment analysis, speech recognition, or natural language processing. We would like to have a comprehensive and customizable dashboard that can provide us with the insights and tools we need to manage our contact center operations effectively. We believe that having these two features as 1st party solutions in Teams would greatly enhance our experience and productivity as a contact center. We also think that these features would benefit many other customers who use Teams phone for their business communication. We hope that you will consider adding these features to your roadmap and prioritize their development. Thank you for your attention and support.720Views0likes0CommentsRe: Any help for the M365 cloud adoption
I can certainly help guide you and your org through this but there are several nuances in all Microsoft 365 deployments to any org. First, I recommend looking at the Microsoft 365 admin center, which is a centralized dashboard for managing your organization’s Microsoft 365 services. You can use it to manage user accounts, set up security policies, view analytics, and more. Second, I recommend going through the Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center overview, which provides a comprehensive look at the features, tools, and processes available to help protect your organization’s data and users. Third, I recommend checking out the Microsoft 365 Learning Paths which provides an organized list of lessons and resources to help you get up to speed on a variety of topics related to Microsoft 365. Finally, I recommend taking a look at the Microsoft 365 Support and Troubleshooting Center, which provides helpful information on topics such as deploying Microsoft 365, troubleshooting authentication issues, and more. I hope this information is helpful. DM me via Teams Chat (or reply here) I would love to have a Teams call to discuss approach based on my experience.1.7KViews1like0CommentsIntegrating Viva Insights into Dynamics 365 native
As "clunky" as setting up Viva Advanced Insights can be, the data it uncovers can prove invaluable to any organization in today's modern workplace. I have recently integrated these BI reports directly into our instance of Power Apps Model Driven App and internal adoption has skyrocketed! Thanks to the Power Apps Release 2023 Release Wave 1, custom pages, and the new Power BI tile visual make this app possible! Now all my team members can benefit from this insightful data within their existing workflows.697Views1like2CommentsManaging Storage End User Experience
OneDrive Team, Thanks for all the work you have done to modernize the Desktop Sync experience on both Windows 10 and Windows 11. With that said, there are still some very "legacy" functions within the app experience. Lately, our clients have come to depend on OneDrive for Business as KFM is auto enabled and enforced for all devices via Endpoint Manager (MEM). Are there plans to modernize the end-user storage management experience for OneDrive for Business? Many users have mentioned the current experience is confusing and "looks outdated - like an old server". I am attaching a couple of screenshots to help illustrate. The screenshots were taken on an endpoint joined to MEM with Microsoft 365 Business Premium licensing and OneDrive KFM enabled by default/autopilot. The Windows OS version is Windows 11 v22H2 (Release Preview).1.1KViews2likes3Comments- 35KViews1like0Comments
Set Microsoft Edge as Default Browser from Endpoint Manager (Intune)
Hi All, I was hoping someone can point me in the right place. I used to use an ADMX policy that allowed us to enforce Edge (Chromium) as the default browser for all Windows Devices joined to Azure Active Directory. I cannot seem to locate the flag anymore. Is there a new place to enforce Edge as the default browser for Windows Devices?Universal Print Available for Windows 10 Business?
Hello, I noticed Universal Print is only available for Enterprise and Education tenants while in private preview. Will this also be made available on tenants running Microsoft 365 Business? The majority of our SMB clients are migrating to Microsoft 365 Business and could really benefit from this feature. I would be happy to drop 3rd party if this works. Regards, DaveRe: Dev channel update to 81.0.416.3 is live
josh_bodner Amazing stuff Josh! You guys have built a great browser. Edge is now being deployed as the default and only browser available throughout our national network of Managed Service Providers and we have had nothing but positive feedback. #byechrome2.5KViews2likes1Comment
