DKIM question
we are in hybrid mode with MS 365. setting up DKIM and DMARC this week. I was under the impression that MS 365 did have DKIM for our onmicrosoft.com account, but not for our regular domain account, say ourdomain.com and that I needed to add that on our DNS service provider. but - when I went to email authentication settings I do see ourdomain.com as accepted domain with domain type of Internal Relay. so my question is, can I just enable this and then NOT have to create DKIM on our DNS service? I would only need to create DMARC on our DNS provider site?548Views0likes1CommentRe: Hybrid Exchange relay connector - adding new IP
did that, and updated our firewall to allow that new IP out over port 25. but we have not received ANY of those emails, and they do not show up in 365 quarantine, nor show up as failed in 365, or delivered. could they just be delayed and we wouldnt see them?1.8KViews0likes7CommentsHybrid Exchange relay connector - adding new IP
we are hybrid with 365. our copiers and servers relay all emails through onsite Exchange server to 365 using connector. our internet went down, so we switched to a backup internet connection. we have added that IP address to the connector on the 365 exchange admin site, but email is still holding on the exchange server. is there something else we need to do?2KViews0likes9Commentsoutlook 365 keeps prompting for password - nothing fixes it
we are on office 365, hybrid connection. all users on 365, devices send emails to onsite exchange server which then sends to 365. have 3 difference computers doing this now, different computer models, manufacturer. one brand new laptop, 2 desktops, 1 5 years old, other 3. different version of windows 10, one has 2004, one 1909, the other 20h2. of the 3 affected user accounts, two are prexisting, one was created just this week. when you open outlook, outlook keeps prompting for password over and over, but if you click CANCEL on password prompt, then click on Needs Password at bottom of Outlook, it will connect, and stay connected for about 30 mins to an hours, before the process starts all over again. have cleared credentials, created new profile, signed out of office, no change. downloaded setupprod_authchk from MS, ran though its checks, nothing changed. any more suggestions? 365 support from our MSP just asked us to create a new windows profile on each affected computer, which would be bit of a pain, hope to try something else.2.2KViews0likes1Commentissues relaying to 365 for one user
hybrid setup, exchange 2013, and 365. all users are on 365, copiers and couple of servers send email to 365 via exchange relay. having an issue with single new user. report emailed from server, goes to exchange 2013 relay connector, then to 365. emailed report has 3 people copied on it, the two preexisting users received the email, the new user did not. I ran PS commands on my exchange server for message trace, and it shows the email being sent out to all 3 users. nothing appears in quarantine on 365. message trace on 365 from the report email to the new user returns nothing though, what am I missing? its almost like 365 is saying "nope" for these emails to this one person, but no recording the nope anywhere. is there another place to look?1.2KViews0likes3CommentsRe: single user cannot access public folders in hybrid mode
I have done that already. I have mutliple uses who CAN access the Public Folders, just this one who cannot, and I cant seem to figure it out. even tried setting x500 email address, but that did not work, and I did notice that other users did not have x500. I have a single user in a hybrid O365 environment (Exchange 2013) that has been migrated to 365, that doesn't have access to the public folders on the exchange 2013 server, he gets the error: Cannot expand the folder. The attempt to log on to Microsoft Exchange has failed other users who have been migrated to 365 CAN see the folders. they all have reviewer rights. it is a public folder that contains external email addresses, so they can share an address book of people\vendors outside the company. I have tried changing permissions on the folder, even made him owner from Exchange 2013 ECP but still cannot expand the folder without getting that error. I have tried recreating his profile with no change. I have set him up on another system, with no change. I even went to ECP and manually gave him reviewer rights to Public Folders from there (this is the only public folder in use) but no change. what else can I try?3.8KViews0likes4Comments
