Create single temporary voicemail for all Teams Voice users
I need to create a single temporary voicemail for all Teams Voice users for the Xmas break. Can someone please help with setting this up with best practice? This voicemail message has already been setup for a main phone number IVR using an Auto Attendant.Outlook not connecting, secure certificate error
Hi Everyone, I have one PC where Outlook won't connect to an Office 365 user account. This user account can be setup under Outlook on other PCs without issue. When going through the Outlook profile setup the following secure certificate error is show (the ngdonalotiling.com domain looks very suspicious). Can someone please help me with fixing this one? Hi everybody, We need to authorise Office 365 tenant access to a partner so that they can implement a Dynamics-based system. Relationship: Reseller Admin roles: Global administrator, Helpdesk administrator The fact that this partner needs global administrator access to the entire tenant is concerning. From a security viewpoint, is there any way to monitor activity on the tenant by this partner? Maybe under Security & Compliance > Audit Log? Thanks AshSolved5.6KViews1like8CommentsDisabling AD synced users
Hello all, I'm looking for a 'best practice' for processing users who have left an organisation where their Office 365 tenant is AD synced using AD Connect. The issue we find is that when we disable an AD user account the user is deleted within Office 365. We would like the user to remain in Office 365, allowing us to convert the mailbox to be shared & remove it's license. Thanks for any help! Hello everyone, I'd like to configure our customers' "Users at risk detected alerts" to be emailed to an external email address but have hit a hurdle. The issue is that we have blocked auto-forwarding of emails (ATP anti-spam outbound policy). This seems to prevent the emailing of Identity Protection to an external email address. Can someone please help me to get these emails working without disabling the auto-forwarding policy? Ash910Views0likes0CommentsRe: Convert Tenant to Education
SctClsn MS Support converted the tenant at our request. Let me know if you would like me to DM you the MS contact. MS Support verified the tenant as eligible for converting to EDU, then removed the Nonprofit tag and added the EDU tag. Here is the authorization email: Microsoft Online Services Support has received a request to remove the nonprofit the nonprofit tag associated with < tenant.onmicrosoft.com>. We have created a Service Request (SR), <1234567>, to track the progress of your request. Please be advised that nonprofit tag remove is an irreversible action. If you want us to continue with this request, please reply to this email and provide the following information. Do you authorize Microsoft to manually remove the nonprofit tag under the tenant tenant.onmicrosoft.com? Please indicate your authorization to continue by typing your name and your user ID (also known as OrgID) in the space below Name:_______________________________ OrgID:_______________________________ (For example: user@domain.onmicrosoft.com)13KViews0likes1CommentRe: External users cannot open encrypted email

Thanks for your quick reply. I sent a test email to a Gmail account (not connected to a Microsoft account) which showed the message in my post above. No prompt to "Click here to read your message". I still get the same message after connecting a Microsoft account. 😞108KViews0likes12CommentsExternal users cannot open encrypted email
Hi all, I searched the communities but couldn't find the answers I need in regards to Office 365 Message Encryption. We have a customer that wants to send encrypted emails from Outlook. When a non-Microsoft recipient (e.g. Gmail user) receives these emails they cannot open them. They get the following: It's my understanding that external recipients should be able to view encrypted email as per this article. Can someone please help? The sending user has a Microsoft 365 Business Premium license, and Azure Information Protection is active under the 365 tenant. Thanks AshSolved120KViews0likes25CommentsRe: Monitoring partner relationship activity
VasilMichev That's true. Unfortunately we don't know the username the partner will use, only their domain. The New-ProtectionAlert cmdlet may work for what I require, however I'm not sure if it can match any.user@partnerdomain.com. The cmdlet might be something like the following which I'll try to test tomorrow. New-ProtectionAlert -Name "Partner Tenant Activity" -NotifyUser user@tenantdomain.com -ThreatType Activity - Filter "Activity.TargetUserOrGroupType -like 'partnerdomain.com'"5.5KViews0likes1CommentRe: Monitoring partner relationship activity
Thanks for your help. I don't think the "eligible" GA role and PIM will work as the partner needs full admin access to the tenant ongoing to allow Dynamics to function. In regards to the audit log, do you know how to specifically see logged activity by the partner?5.6KViews0likes5CommentsRe: Convert Tenant to Education
I put this to Microsoft support (Office 365 Online Support Team). Their backend team first check if the customer can be verified as "Education". If so, they'll proceed with removing existing tags on the tenant ("nonprofit" tag in this case) and add the education tag. Once the tenant has the education tag is in place I understand that Office 365 Academic licensing can be purchased & assigned to existing users in the tenant.14KViews1like4CommentsAzure Storage vs SharePoint Document Library
Hi Everyone, I am looking at Azure Blob Storage (cool tier) for a customer to archive older files from their on-premise file server. This is going to cost the customer $X per month in addition to their current Microsoft 365 licenses. Can someone please tell me why the customer would choose this option over using a document library within SharePoint? SharePoint storage is already included with their current 365 licenses. Does Azure Storage offer any benefits that are worth the extra costs? Thanks for your advice! AshSolved43KViews0likes6Comments
