Re: Does Microsoft Teams use Global Address List (organization) contacts?
Mik Hartel It's beyond retarded. Dev: Maybe we should grab the Address info that admins fill out when they create accounts. People might find that useful. MS Boss: Nah, who need to see a list of people they work with in chat interface?????????136KViews1like0CommentsRe: Not receiving Planner comments in Outlook inbox
Jason DrewI know what you mean. I'm beyond disappointed by the lack of interest from Microsoft in resolving this. This is one of the most basic things that one would expect with a task management tool, and 1 year no later no fix, no workaround in Flow or whatever it is called now, just the usual " the dev team is looking at it" line.16KViews0likes0Commentschannel name is already taken
I'm running into an error creating a Channel in a team, if there is a Sharepoint folder with the Channel name. Scenario: I create a folder in a teams's SharePoint Shared Documents folder called Channel1 In Teams I go to the team and I add a new Channel called Channel1 When I do I get an error saying "Channel name is already taken" In my previous my past experience you could create the folder first and then the channel, is anyone running into this issue? NOTE: This channel did not exist before and was not deleted.6.4KViews0likes3Commentscreate Org-Wide team from Root Tenant communication site
Hello: Does anyone know of a way to create a team using a communication site? What am I trying to do specifically is create an Org Wide team using the root tenant sharepoint site as the back-end. We recently started a new tenant site and by default the root tenant site was a communication site and not a classic/teams site.Solved1.5KViews2likes5CommentsRe: Not receiving Planner comments in Outlook inbox
chtranMSFT Hello: Are there any new updates on this? As a few people have said previously, it does not make sense that a person/people assigned to tasks need to first comment on the tasks before they will get notifications of comments in their inbox. I can understand applying that settings to members of the group who are not assigned to the task, but the task owner and assignee should get all notifications, unless they expressly turn them off. Also are there any updates for using "@" mentions in tasks comments? This would be a very helpful feature. My company is in the process of adopting teams, and I know this comment issue is one of the things that's gonna make them question planner/teams again...34KViews3likes1Comment
