Re: Teams not working in Windows 11 AVD + FSLogix
Thanks. The only reason we are switching is due to support for fixes being dropped for Universal Print on Win 10. We just rolled out Win 10 AVD to 200 users and had an issue. MS dropped the bomb on us that they are no longer fixing UP issues on Win 10 AVD. Nice.2.6KViews0likes0CommentsPartner Center Delegate Admin Access Permissions Reduction
Yes, long title. As MS rolls out new GUIs, we are noticing less and less functionality for our delegated admins. We are at the point where our lower level techs cannot perform basic functionality like adding things to the allow/block list for spam due to "Insufficient Rights." All of our techs are listed as "Admin Agent." Due to compliance, only higher level techs can have GA rights. It seems completely contradictory that by removing rights for delegates to "improve security," we now have to hand the greenest techs GA access to perform a basic spam function. Do I have this wrong? Is there a work-around? What is going on over at MS?Re: "Please wait for Windows Search" when logging off
KapilArya I replied to another post yesterday. YES! I was able to resolve this. This worked for us. Login to session host as local admin Open indexing Advanced File Types Find the PDF filter and make it "Index Properties Only" This started happening after we installed Adobe Acrobat I believe.21KViews0likes0CommentsRe: "Please wait for the Windows search" when logging off
Gotenks YES!! Here is what worked for me: login as local admin to the session host open indexing options Advanced File Types under pdf, make sure the radio button for "index properties only" is checked Our issue started after installing Adobe and it tried to index inside the documents as well. It kept hanging and changing these indexing filter options resolved it.34KViews1like4CommentsRe: "Please wait for Windows Search" when logging off
Good luck. I have had three open cases with three different engineers and no one has been able to solve it yet. I tried adding the EnablePerUserCatalog to the registry but that didn't seem to help. Today I rebuilt one users' search database to see if that helps... we shall see. So far MS support has been a big nothingburger.22KViews0likes3Comments"Please wait for Windows Search" when logging off
Hi, We use FSLogix, Azure Premium File Share, and high powered skus for the vms. When my users log out, it hangs at "Please wait for Windows Search" for up to 8 minutes before finally logging out. Also, Outlook randomly crashes with a Windows Search error. I have had a premier ticket opened for over a week with no traction so I'm reaching out here. Hoping someone can help!22KViews0likes5CommentsRe: "Please wait for the Windows search" when logging off
Jgq85 Was this ever resolved? I have had a ticket opened for two weeks with Microsoft with no progress. Was the solution to just disable both FSLogix RoamSearch and also disable Windows Search? What functionality is lost by doing that?37KViews0likes6CommentsRe: Resolved - Windows Client for Spring update 2020 - Subscription error
Hi PavithraT, I was able to get the answer after opening a support case. The article that references the TXT record creation says to use a custom URL. This is incorrect. You must use the feed URL for the Spring 2020 version. _msradc IN TXT "spring feed url"14KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Resolved - Windows Client for Spring update 2020 - Subscription error
Thanks PavithraT. It seems the macOS client isn't able to resolve feeds via email address yet, or at least it's not in my experience. (v10.3.11) Are you saying the Windows client does work? If so, I'll try it on my parallels VM. Thanks!14KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Resolved - Windows Client for Spring update 2020 - Subscription error
PavithraT So, we still can't subscribe on the Windows client via email address? Also, this doesn't appear to work at all from the macOS client. Any updates there? Can you also describe the 2019 consent process?14KViews0likes6Comments
