Re: Dev channel update to 79.0.287.2 is live
Overlay scroll bars have been an issue for the last couple builds. Some people who don’t want them have them and can’t turn them off. Others are like me. The “smooth scroll” option is there, but just like last time we discussed it it does not fix the problem. There was another person who said it was there “experimental” scroll option and it indeed fixed it. @josh_bodner Where do I start? Scrollbar overlay is still broken. I don't have the overlay scrollbar as I had it turned on previously and the option to turn it on is still missing. Scrolling is broken to **bleep** again, feels like the old Edge (BAD) and the last time I had this problem I disabled "experimental smooth scrolling" or something like that and THAT flag is also missing. Are these changes meant to be this way or typical development woes? Thanks, this did it. Is this something added in a recent build? Because I didn't notice it until last week. Drew1903 It's a bit hard to explain, but ever since the previous build the scrolling with my mouse wheel feels like the original Edge and not like any other chromium based browser. You feel each click of the mouse wheel rather than the super smooth feeling.15KViews0likes6Comments
