Re: Cannot discover printers
Hi Saurabh_Bansal Thanks for your reply. My computer is Azure AD Joined and there were no additional Work, or personal accounts configured. Over the weekend, I have redeployed my computer with Autopilot and now I can discover the cloud printers again. My issue has been resolved.1.4KViews1like0CommentsCannot discover printers
Hi, I have had Universal Print working before, but I have reinstalled my computer last week and now, I cannot discover any cloud printer anymore. To be sure that everything is configured correctly, I have reinstalled everything, according to the Microsoft documentation. The connector service on my printserver is working fine, registered printers appear in the Azure portal. From there, I share a printer for everyone in the organization. I have also redeployed the Universal Print Printer Provisioning service on my computer and I have configured Intune to run the 'installpolicy.cmd' script. The 'printers.csv' file appears in %appdata%\UniversalPrintPrinterProvisioning\Configuration folder and contains the right share ID and share name of the printer. My computer is AAD joined and my user account is licensed for Universal Print. Still, I don't see any cloud printer after logging in, or searching for printers. I also do not see the link to search for cloud printers after a regular discovery. Am I missing something? Is there some extensive logging I can take a look at?1.5KViews0likes2CommentsSetting up email notifications
Hi, I'm trying to get email notifications for alerts, but I do not receive any. I have enabled Email notifications in 'User Settings' --> 'Notifications' and in 'Settings' --> 'Mail settings' I use the default settings. I haven't enabled mail notifications in separate policies which I can edit, but I assumed that the notification settings enable notifications for all alerts with a certain severity, so there would be no need to configure individual policies. Since not every policy can be edited and there are a lot of policies which can generate an alert, it's not very convenient to edit individual policies. Is there a way to receive alerts without ediRe: Keep Log Collector running
Dean_Gross Keeping a disconnect user session in memory will allow an attacker to compromise the server. Wouldn't it be wise to always log off disconnected RDP sessions on servers, to reduce attack surface? Therefore, we have a GPO set, that logs off every RDP session on our servers that are disconnected for 10 minutes. Isn't there a way to keep the container running as a service, while there is no user session active on the server?2.6KViews0likes1CommentKeep Log Collector running
Hi, I have deployed a log collector for Cloud App Security in a Docker container on a Windows Server 2019 VM. Our FortiGate firewall is pushing syslog messages to this log collector, which ingests the logs in MCAS. This works fine, as long as I have a logged in user session at the Windows VM which keeps the Docker container running. As soon as I log out of this session, the container stops running and there are no new logfiles in MCAS. How can I keep the Docker container running when I log off?
