KevinCrossman : there was regression in Stream (Classic), where the videos were not hiding after they were migrated (we hide or soft delete in Classic and hard delete after 180 days of migration) . This bug was introduced in early Jan due to our upstream dependencies on a platform. It had been fixed & roll out completed early this week on all clusters. You shouldn't see this bug now. Also, the videos that you migrated will not longer be visible on Classic. KevinCrossman : We don't have the functionality available right now. It is in our backlog. We are constantly prioritizing bugs and new features request, so can't commit if and when it will be above the cut-line. When and if it comes, you will able to change the folder's name and move it anywhere in the same site without breaking the redirection links.Re: Tenant throttling
Like i mentioned above the calculation is theoretical and good benchmark. The number of days is something that you can know empirically. If your customer is facing an issue in the middle of migration, please raise a support ticket with higher severity so it can be addressed faster.Re: Tenant throttling
unodei You shouldn't worry about batch size, the platform will throttle when required. We have some theoretical numbers from platform, but they need to be tested in real world. But this should be a good starting point for throughput. 0.1 videos/per second/per container. The tool was not available to some of the tenants in Southern America and Canada regions till late October. It is available now. While the tool will bring the capability to migrate such videos. We would advise you to look at such videos and migrate only if they are being watch. Our aggregate level data tell us that video that are being watched usually end up with a group or user owner, even if the uploader leaves the organization. If you still have orphaned videos that are being viewed, a hack is to assign owners to these videos manually in Stream (Classic), but this could work when you have a small number of videos.Re: Migrating Videos Created by Now Deleted Users
JPALM : Orphaned videos or videos that don't have owner will satisfy the following criterion and you can identify these from the Stream video report (mentioned here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/stream/streamnew/migration-details#stream-classic-video-report ). 1. The 'State' column should be either 'Processing' or 'Completed' 2. They should be published or 'Published' date should be not null 3. CatherineEleen : 1. Can you check that when you landed in the Migration tool Scans tab, the connection was successful? To check that, you should see a green dot and the word 'Connected' on the top right corner of the screen. 2. No, you don't need to add the containers manually via CSV. When you landed on the Scans tab it triggers auto-discovery of content in your tenant. It takes upto 15 mins for first set of containers to appear, if you have large data. Can you click on "Look for new Containers" from inside "Add containers" menu and wait for 15-20 mins.
