Re: Using Files with Copilot
Bill, I don't think you are missing anything. The default list shown after clicking the paperclip icon, or typing "/" is from your Recently Used list of files. You can, however, start typing part of the file name and that list will refresh to show files it thinks you are looking for. One technique I have used when I want a specific file, but have failed to get it to show in that list, is to use the "Share" feature of Word, PowerPoint, or Excel, to get a URL to the file. Then I put that URL in the request to CoPilot for Microsoft 365's "Work" request.2.1KViews0likes1CommentCoPilot "An external link was removed to protect your privacy"
Scenario: I am signed in to corporate CoPilot for M365. I'm asking CoPilot app on desktop in "WORK" mode to generate an excel file with some fictitious data & make it available in an Excel file. CoPilot generates the table, then removes the link to the file 😑 I can use it in "WEB" mode to do the same, and it generates a BING URL that then results in a 404. <sigh> I can SIGN OUT and use generic CoPilot. That will generate a file, then prompt me for corporate credentials, and then it gives me the file. The question: How do I get file generation working while logged in to my corporate account? Do we have a security permission causing issues?5.6KViews6likes11CommentsRe: CoPilot in Edge on Mac
Ankur_B You are correct. And I have all those featues in the Office suite. Last evening, I was on a Zoom call with a colleague, and they had "Rewrite with Copilot" available to them while using Azure DevOps in an Edge browser. I can't figure out how to enable that for the life of me or what I am missing from a licensing standpoint.755Views0likes2CommentsCoPilot in Edge on Mac
It's my understanding that "Draft with CoPilot" and "Rewrite with CoPilot" are available in Edge for the Mac. I have installed Edge, including the production version, Canary, and Beta. I signed in to my corporate email which is enabled for CoPilot for Microsoft 365. I cannot seem to see/enable CoPilot "draft.." or "rewrite..." I do have the CoPilot capability on the sidebar in my browser. Am I doing something wrong? Is it not available?864Views0likes4Comments
