Check my Office insider status
When I go to my Account information page, I can confirm that I have Microsoft 365. I no longer see Officer Insider button. Where would I find it or check my status on my account on the web? I checked this morning since I am most interested in the coming new OneNote version. Does this have a separate Insider program? So far in my (Dev) release, a search of Settings does not turn up any likely suspects. Maybe its a semi-hidden flags thing. I just don't get it. How ill-timed can a new feature be? Encouraging people to go into debt just ahead of the holiday? Add in rising consumer price inflation? On my self-owned laptop that I use for work and play, I have onedrive personal from my Microsoft 365 account and I also have OneDrive business that I subscribe to for its benefits. It would be hard to abandon the personal account, but its also a pain having both on my c: drive, and having to shift from one profile to the other regularly. Guidance on keeping both vs abandoning the personal account? I should have mentioned that in investigating the issue, I tried a number of system type things, including checking for Office updates, creating a blank database, importing everything, recompiling, relinking all linked tables, and updating all references. I also copied one of the tables into a fresh temp table separate from the rest of the data structure and ran one of the queries on that. You are giving me an idea: maybe I need to troubleshoot of reinstall Office. More likely, however, if no one else has had this issue, then I will finish skirting around the handful of queries that crashed the system.1.7KViews0likes0CommentsQuery formula crashes Access
Has anyone else experienced Access crash when opening a query with InStr in a formula? I am not sure when this started, and it took trial and error to associate sudden crashing with using this function in a formula. Possibly its something else; this is just my empirical observation. I have longstanding query formula fields such as Left([IIDesc],InStr(1,[IIDesc],"(")-1) AS Task No longer working. Access closes with no warning or error message; somthing must be overrunning. Deleted I also suddenly have this problem. And I checked that I can "paste" same item item in a Gmail item in Chrome. (Don't worry, I use both Chrome and Outlook). In searching for precedent, I saw this article among others https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/. Really need ability to search (and you can in Toby extension) and/or tag pages in collections. Loving collections, visually and use. As the number of collections and pages grows, need ability to organize collections and pages within. Eventually send a page to a to-do or create a connected OneNote.
