Quarantined messages released by system mailbox
We discovered Friday that many emails were quarantined properly but released when they shouldn't have been. The same mailbox released all the emails. I have tried looking up the GUID but there are no results. It seems like some process but I am not sure what it would be. I opened a support ticket Friday, but I haven't heard from Microsoft. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks!1KViews0likes0CommentsAlert available for multiple emails from one sender?
Is there an alert available to notify admins if there are several emails (for example 50 or more) from the same sender? It would be nice to know when multiple emails come in from one sender as they are usually spam/phishing.887Views0likes0CommentsAdvanced Delivery - can't see URL clicks
We have used Advanced Delivery for a few phishing simulations and it is nice to have all the components in one place. We used to whitelist the URLs in Exchange so they were not blocked by ATP. Now that we are using Advanced Delivery, I can't see the employees that clicked the URL link from the email anymore. I used to be able to see this when it was whitelisted in Exchange. I have a ticket open with Microsoft but it has been 2 weeks and no answers so far. Is anyone else having this issue or can you see the URL clicks for whitelisted URLs? Is this by design with this new feature?3.2KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Do Not Forward not working for some emails
ChristianBergstrom If I use the "Do not forward" template for message encryption, the forward option is greyed out as expected when the recipient is @gmail.com or @live.com but if I use the same template for another email provider like icloud.com I am able to forward the message to whoever I would like and that person can read the original message. Seems that the do not forward protection only works for some recipients not all.9.6KViews0likes3CommentsDo Not Forward not working for some emails
I have been testing with message encryption and noticed that the "do not forward" option works great for Office 365, Live, Yahoo and Gmail but not for other providers. I was able to successfully forward it to 2 other provider emails. Is there a setting I am missing or does it only work for some providers and not all? Thanks!9.8KViews0likes5CommentsRe: Double booking of rooms in Office365
We didn't find one that would work for us. We set our rooms to deny the series if the resource wasn't available for any of the meetings. It is harsh but it seems to have solved the double booking issue. We decided it was better than the confusion caused by the double booking. We also are changing the responses from the rooms to say "Be sure you received the acceptance from the room, until you have that, the room is not booked." I am wishing that the calendar invite would keep all the meetings if the room is available and only decline if the room is busy. Maybe someday. Sorry I couldn't be of any help to you.8.6KViews1like3CommentsRe: 'Invite to Join' feature launched to invite and add members to Office 365 Groups
I understand this concept for members of the group but if an owner chooses to add someone this way it is confusing. Is there a way to recognize the owner of the group and give them an option to add a new member right away without approval (from the settings dropdown) or do we need to educate owners to navigate to the the members page and add the new member there instead of going into the group settings? I also noticed when I added a new guest and they requested approval it only gives the option for a work or school account not personal. Is it expected behavior that guests are unable to request access?8.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Feature update: Email sending behavior for Groups in Outlook
The sender is not a part of the DL individually but a member of the group nested in the DL. It seemed easier to add the group instead of everyone one by one but sounds like we should add them one by one since the group behavior is different than the DL. Thank you for confirming.67KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Feature update: Email sending behavior for Groups in Outlook
The behavior we are experiencing is if the O365 group is nested in the DL, the sender will not recieve the message either. In order for the sender to get the message they must be listed individually in the DL or cc themselves on the message.67KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Feature update: Email sending behavior for Groups in Outlook
Sorry it doesn't. I see the behavior for the DLs and Groups as you have explained but when my co-worker sent an email to a DL that had an Office 365 group as a member he did not receive a copy of the email so it seems that the new feature will not copy the sender even if it is inside a DL. The DL (with the O365 group as one of the members) was the TO address for the email. I just wanted to confirm that is the expected behavior and not a bug or unintended consequence.68KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Feature update: Email sending behavior for Groups in Outlook
Is the recommendation the same for Office365 groups nested within the DLs? Were you able to confirm that the feature that doesn't cc the sender on an email to an Office365 group won't cc members of the Office365 group inside the DL and they need to cc themselves if they want the email?68KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Feature update: Email sending behavior for Groups in Outlook
Yes, we have a DL that has an Office365 group as a member. One member of that Office 365 group sent an email to the DL yesterday and he didn't get a copy. I was curious if the new group functionality overrides the DL functionality and if someone wants a copy of the message they send to the DL they need to cc themselves.111KViews1like0Comments
