New Outlook for Mac not showing contacts in new e-mail from shared mailboxes
Hello, in our organization we share many contact cards by using the shared mailbox function. So many employees have access to different shared mailboxes. Each mailbox comes with their own contact lists. In the new Outlook for Mac we see the shared contact lists on the contact site. Everything is fine so far. But by writing a new E-Mail, Outlook does not find any mail-address from the shared mailboxes! In the "old" Outlook for Mac the program also searched for mail-addresses in the shared mailboxes. Hi 🙂 a week ago we noticed a problem when trying to access SharePoint Document Libraries over the quick assess bar in the OneDrive Web Application. It says that there is a problem "no default document library was found". This problem only occur when the SharePoint Site do not have a library called "documents". Any Site with a library called "documents" is working correct over the quick assess menue. We would prefer to see an overview over all assigned document libraries to a site, when using the quick assess menue! Does any other seeing this issue? Jason Maclauchlan Hi 🙂 We also get the same error. But I found out that these errors just appear, when the creator of the poll, has deleted the automatically generated answer message from forms. I mean this one: If the creator do not delete it, we get not error messages. But in any case, the answers have delivered correctly. Hello, we are using OneDrive for Business and Office 365 on Mac OS in our organisation. Since the lates update (June 2019) we have a very bad issue in combination with Excel. Now we are on release 19.152.0801.0007 for OneDrive and 16.30 for Excel. The Problem: We are using the Auto-Save Funktion in Excel, so our employees can work together on the same excel sheet. But every time they close the excel files, onedrive say that there is a sync conflict with the file, that was closed immediately. OneDrive say: "We couldn't merge the changes...". And when we open the server version again, this conflict still appears. So OneDrive display a sync conflict, but there is absolutely no real sync conflict with the file! And this conflict only comes up, when we close the excel file with activated auto save. We have this problem just with excel files. In word for instance everything works well. Does anybody know if microsoft know this issue or does anybody know when the next update (Production-Ring) will be released? We also tried downgrading to the Enterprise-Ring (19.086.0502.0010) but OneDrive will automatically update by itself to Production-Ring and there is no way to prevent Onedrive from doing that update.🙂 We hope to get some help. Deleted No unfortunately I did not find some news about it. This is really really bad. Does anybody has an idea why microsoft do not care about that issue? Maybe there are some other workarounds to do these things? I'm afraid that dokument set content type does not work in SharePoint Lists, because there the view is switching. For now I helped me by formatting the name column of the relevant list. Now when users klick the name column the view is changing to the view I specified. But this is not very handy! Hi 🙂 our organisiation wants to use Teams from now on. I have a question about an issue we have. When I select an image for the Team Picture nobody at the organisiation can see this picture. Just me, who uploadet it. So what can I do so everybody incl. guest users can see the team picture? Is anybody else having this issue? Hi 🙂 Since one month we have a printing issue in SharePoint Online Modern Experience. When our users want to print list views or views in document libraries they get a blank site. On normal SharePoint Sites or other websites everything is ok. Just on Libraries or Lists the printed site is blank! The problem occurs in any browser like chrome, IE, firefox or safari as well as on Mac and Windows Machines. Does anybody have the same issue? Until a month ago we could perfectly print modern list views. Is Microsoft currently working on that? I didn’t find any user voice for that. Hi :) I can't find any other post or solution about my problem so here my question: I build a custom SharePoint List (Adress List). In this list I created a multi selectable choice column. Now I want to update more then one item in that list (maybe ten or more). So I select all items I want to update and open the details pane on the right in SharerPoint modern experience. Here I have the possibility to update all the selected Items. But when I update the multi selectable choice column, all old values from the selected items get lost and will be overwritten with the new selection I did in the details pane. So how can I update/add a new value of the choice field for many selected items, without getting lost the old choices of the items? I just want to add a value of the choice field to the items and not overwrite it! Is that easily possible or do I have to use Flow for this workaround? I hope you understand my question. bird_00 Hi, no there is nothing new about it. For now I solved this by making a view for larger screens and one for mobile: "width": "=if(@window.innerWidth > '999', '1000px', '')" So on screens with more then 999px I have a fixed width and on smaller screens, like on mobile devices, the width is correct on 100%. I really hope, microsoft will fixe this, because this solution isn't really satisfying.Re: Update: Document Sets in Modern Document Libraries
LincolnDeMaris Here the answers on your post from Wednesday: Opening in a new tab. Yes we are on the new modern document set view and we have the behavior, that every document set is opening in a new tab in modern view. So what can we do? Document set metadata. We see no Document set metadata appearing in the details pane when inside the document set! What can we do? Document set views and content types. As I wrote, the document set opens with the right view setting! But the view isn't automatically switching by using the breadcrumb. LincolnDeMaris thank you very much for that update. Tree days ago this update was rolled out to our company. But there are two more issues now: 1. when I click on a document set, the link opens in a new browser tab. Is this intended by you or did I something wrong? It would be good to have the link open in the same tab! 2. our default view for the ducument library and inside the document sets are different. when I click on a document set and it opens a new tab, everything is correct. But when I have opened the document set and using the breadcrumb to go back, the view isn't switching to the default view of the document library! I hope you can give me a solution for that.
