List Formatting via JSON has disappeared from a recent SPO Update
Looks like the JSON formatting pane has disabled in the modern list views. A bug ? Also, MS has push the modern experience to all the lists on SPO. Both of these observations could be seen from 3rd Sept, 2024. There is no update from Microsoft about this buggy behaviour.Information Management Policy - SharePoint list - Retention not applied for existing items in a list
I have a SharePoint online site which has a list where we have enabled 'Retention' under Information Management Policy settings. The policy has to delete items from the list that are older than 6 months (Created date). However, despite configuring correctly the policy seems to not have applied as none of our older items got deleted. The list has around 8500+ records and the policy was created very recently. How long will it take for the Document Set Field Synchronization job to trickle down shared column values from Document Sets to the Documents within, in SharePoint Online ? I have a huge library with 100,000+ item count (no comments on having such a huge library), and it is more than an week and the job hasn't updated everything yet. Although it has updated for around 20% (seems like !) and still in progress, it is a challenge to determine the velocity of the updates and frequency of this Job in SPO.Re: Office 365 Network Performance tool POC release
PaulAndrew Thanks for this update. This tool is much required and awaited as many organizations who want to adopt O-365 for hosting their intranets and extranets are currently running separate project(s) with unnecessary financial overheads, for N/W performance insights aiding in O-365 readiness. Keep us posted on a stable release..
