Moving conversation from one Notebook to another....
Is it possible to move a conversation out of a notebook? I am not seeing the option if it does exist. I don't want to DELETE the conversation as that seems to permanently remove the conversation. This seems like basic function so I assume I'm doing it wrong. THX>55Views0likes1CommentNew Teams client upgrade in GCC
I have a GCC tenant so new Teams timelines are a bit different than regular commercial tenants. I am trying to set the Teams Update policy to hide the 'try new Teams' toggle in the classic Teams client BUT allow those users with the new Teams client installed already to still use the new Teams client. The 'Not enabled' update policy option does hide the toggle but also forbids the user from using the new Teams client if they have it installed. This scenario seems to be somethign most admins would desire so I have to be missing something with the proper update policy setting. Can anyone offer some advice? Understanding how permissions work is important to security and I can say this aspect has confused me since starting to work in Azure AD. Take this example, I have an existing Enterprise app configured for 'Microsoft Graph Command Line Tools'. I believe this is the app used when connection to MS Graph via PowerShell. In the enterprise app config there are already multiple delegated permissions assigned under Admin consent, including Sign users in, View users' basic profile, and Maintain access to data. My question is though that even when I connect to Graph in powershell via Connect-MgGraph as a Global Admin, the popup stating that permissions need to be granted by an admin to access. But the app config seems to show that Admin consent permissions already exist for at least the default scope. I know I'm not understanding some nuance of permission assignment in this so if someone can point me straight, I would appreciate. I'm looking in my local and web versions of Excel (M365) for the Analyze Data feature described https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/analyze-data-in-excel-3223aab8-f543-4fda-85ed-76bb0295ffc4#ID0EBBL=Windows. I don't see option in either local or Web Excel. Is this something that is still available and being rolled out? Or is it something now only in Copilot? Or is it missing from my experience since I am in a GCC tenant? Any further info would be most helpful..... THX>809Views1like1CommentAI feature comparison between Teams Premium and Copilot for Teams?
Hi - Is there a stated difference in the AI features between Teams Premium and Copilot for Teams? I know Teams Premium has intelligent recap, to-dos and summaries. Does Copilot do the same things? What might be the differences? THX> Eric8.6KViews0likes3Commentsgetting at On Premises user attributes in Powershell/Graph?
In the Entra admin center, there are many attributes on each user that start with the name 'On Premises'. I would like to extract this info for my users and report on it. The download function in the admin center does not export these attributes. I'm guessing I can get to them somewhere via graph/powershell but I have yet to find the 'on premises' fields I'm looking for. I am mostly trying to report on 'On Premises user principal name'. Does anyone know how to get at this bit of info? THX>Solved14KViews0likes3CommentsCreating rule/script to evaluate incoming meeting invites

Newbie question - Is it possible to aloow people to run Power Automate flows shared with them but limit those users abilities to create flows themselves? We have to standard Office 365 A3 licensing with the service plan options for Power Apps for Office 365 and Power Automate for Office 365. We have limited need for a few flows but unleashing everyone to create their own may cause issues. Thanks for any guidance.... EricReport Group licensing and service plan details with Powershell
I've been searching in vain for an example PS script to report group licensing assignments that also show service plans assigned to the group. I can find examples reporting service plan assignment for users but group seems to be eluding me. Can someone point me in the right way..... ? As a Teams admin I get questions about users having point-in-time client issues (windows) with Teams calls. I hear things like "the audio was bad during the call this morning" or "I got dropped from a conference call yesterday". I have not found any effective way to troubleshoot one-off issues and one-offs really don't matter unless the issues come back. It would be great if the Teams client offered some sort of connection stat screen or dashboard that offered the real-time metrics that matter. That way the user can monitor them to see if they really have a consistent issue. Or have something to compare against when improvement attempts are made, like driver updating or new audio equipment. Does anyone else have any ideas for ways to gather single endpoint stats when using Teams client? THX>E1.1KViews1like1CommentTeams chat and call detail logging - is it available?
Hi all, I'm looking at log / audit options in Teams. Does the ability to audit chat or IP call flow exist? Like user1 IM'd user2 on this day and time? Or user1 called user2 (IP calling) at this day and time? I would think it exists but have not found it yet. Thanks for any help in locating this. EricSolved6.8KViews0likes2Comments
