Re: Unable to go past PendingActivation stage
aileronsrg If you are publishing an offer to the Azure marketplace, it doesn't require you to activate a subscription. The pending Activation should happen when a customer acquires your offer through the Marketplace and you need to activate the customer subscription to complete the purchase. If the pending activation is related to a purchase, you can activate the subscription through SaaS API ( Managing the SaaS subscription life cycle | Microsoft Learn). If you use SaaS Accelerator, you can follow the guidance in this library to activate the customer subscription: Mastering the SaaS Accelerator - Mastering the Marketplace (microsoft.github.io)735Views1like1CommentRe: Seeking Advice: User Limit Issue Encountered While Setting Up Free Tier on Microsoft Marketplace
upliftertom I checked mine and looked like it's by design in this case (maximum user can't be lower than minimum user). There are couple work around I have in mind: 1. Keep the plan as is. Your plan description clearly states that this is for 1 user only. When a customer subscribes to your plan, they will need to provide the number of users anyway and they should put the number 1 in there. Once the customer completes steps on their side, you will have a chance to review the number of users they provide before activating the customer subscription. 2. I'd recommend exploring the flat rate billing term by creating a new offer. Flat rate has features that give you more flexibility such as a custom meter which can be used for non-standard billing terms. For example: if you want to charge your customer for additional purchases, more users added, etc. In addition, with flat rate billing term, when you have private offer deals, you can put the total contract value instead of calculating price per User then your end customer must put the number of users when making purchases.554Views2likes1CommentMultiparty private offer (MPO) for selling partners
I just wanted to share some best practices if you, as a selling partner, are working on an MPO deal with an ISV to sell an offer to an end customer. A MPO can be set up quickly in Partner Center; however, it's required that your account is enabled for MPO first. Not meeting the requirements can delay you from completing the deal on time. I highly recommend that you check all the requirements below and complete the sign-up in advance. It will save you a lot of time when you move further into setting up the deal. Below are the requirements: You have enrolled in the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program. You have created a commercial marketplace account in Partner Center. Your account is enrolled in the commercial marketplace program. You have a completed United States tax profile in Partner Center for commercial marketplace. An ISV has created a multiparty private offer for you. The offer you want to sell privately has been published to the marketplace and is publicly transactable. You're creating a multiparty private offer for a customer that is eligible to purchase multiparty private offers. Review the customer eligibility criteria. You have a marketplace developer, manager, or account owner role associated with your marketplace seller ID. justinroyal JonathanNativ : just wanted to add to what Justin shared above. You would want the status of your private offer to be subscribed. It meant that the customer completed the purchase, and you activated the customer subscription. If not, the customer won't be billed, and you will not receive payment from that transaction. If this is related to a SaaS offer, you can explore SaaS Accelerator - an open-source tool that can help you activate and manage customer subscriptions.
