Re: Copilot: extra license for Teams?
Much appreciated Sharma, Your reply confirms our initial understanding of the documentation. However, I will give some time if any other participant in the community wants to share a different idea on this point. Afterwards, I will mark your reply as the solution on my question. Warm regards, Nick23Views1like0CommentsCopilot: extra license for Teams?
Dear community, We have a request from one of our resellers (we are an Ind. Provider) when it comes to M365 Copilot and its usage in Teams. More specifically, they want to use Copilot as an AI assistant during meetings sessions to help them with meeting minutes, meeting summarization and so on. The question: is this achievable with just having the prerequisite licenses (e.g., M365 Premium etc) and M365 Copilot or do they need to have Teams Premium? Thank you in advance for your helpful insights to close this deal. Warm regards, Nick48Views1like2CommentsRe: URGENT: NCE subscription Cancellation hour limitation within a day!
Dear Martijn, Much appreciated for your continuous significant inputs! These is also our impresssion. P.S.: Wording limitation also noted from my end, this is why I am asking about "a whole amount payback"! 😁 Will keep this thread open for bit longer, and if no further questions should arise, I will mark your reply as the solution. Dear Community, happy holiday to everybody! We need to make a decision on a subscription cancellation, and our Finance DPT has the impression that as part of a past cancellation within the 7 days window, we have not received a full refund. Let's say that on 09:00 am we created a new NCE subscription. However, around noon, we received the info that we have to cancel it. The question: except from the 7 days/168 hours cancellation window, is there any other hour limitation withing the same day of cancelling a subscription in order to get a whole amount payback? It will be really important for the whole community to understand this point clearly. Thank you in advance for your significant support! Warm regards, NickSolvedURGENT: Office LTSC Standard 2024: priced per user or per device?
Dear community, As we need to plan our offer for a big deal through the CSP channel, could you please help us how is the Office LTSC Standard 2024 being billed? Is it per user or per device/PC? Furthermore, if it is per device/PC, and for example we have 5x PCs, then we should buy 5x different licenses or can we install Office LTSC in more than one PC with just 1x license (something like Multiple Activation Key)? Please help us on this the soonest in order to conclude with the offer submission. Warm regards, NickSolvedURGENT: Modern Work SMB Designation Questions
Dear Community, As we are planning our following the end of Legacy Silver & Gold Benefits, we would like your significant help to reply the below questions: 1. Will we be able to have both the Modern Work SMB Designation that we are eligible for & also buy the Partner Success Core pack? 2. Does Microsoft 365 E5 that is included in the Solutions Partner Designation Modern Work SMB include Teams? 3. Does Viva Suite that is included in the Solutions Partner Designation Modern Work SMB include Viva Goals? 4. Could you please confirm that we are able to combine the new partner benefits packages, meaning that we are able to buy one unit of each package (e.g., 1x Partner Launch & 1x Partner Success Core). Thank you in advance for your prompt actions to help us conclude with our FY25 budget! Warm regards, NickSolved76Views0likes2CommentsURGENT - Renewing Legacy Silver/Gold Benefits
Dear community, Following August's announcement regarding the end of Legacy benefits, we would like to find out if there is any possibility to renew a legacy silver/gold benefit before our renewal window opens. As mentioned in the announcement, a partner can renew their legacy benefit until Jan. 21,2024. However, our renewal window starts on April. Therefore, as we are not capable to renew our legacy benefits, could you please advise if there is any way to renew it outside our renewal window? Probably this will be a hot questions also for other partners to know. Thank you in advance for your significant support! :) Warm regards, Nick58Views0likes1CommentRe: Legal Parameters for Indirect Reseller case in CSP Program
Dear JillArmourMicrosoft Coming back to resurrect this thread. Could you please follow up with the team to finally define what is the exact definition of an "Affiliate" company in Microsoft's dictionary? Thank you once again for your significant support! Warm regards, NickRe: Legal Parameters for Indirect Reseller case in CSP Program
Dear JillArmourMicrosoft, Thank you so much. Really looking for team's significant support & answer on this. It is so critical for our business to define this documentation lines into a crystal-clear understanding to make our decisions on them. Looking forward to hearing from you & the team. Warm regards, NickRe: Legal Parameters for Indirect Reseller case in CSP Program
Dear JillArmourMicrosoft, Much appreciated Jill for your reply! Regarding the article, we have also been reviewing the same learn article. Let me follow up on your reply to add few thoughts: firtly, we do not intend to sell to ourselves as an end-customer; so this scenario is out of scope. It is one of our Indirect Resellers who want to sell to a different legal entity, which happens to be their subsidiary. Therefore, based on the sample scenario 5, does this applies to the clause "or to their affiliate organizations"? To our point of view, this is not a case of an "affiliate organization" due to the fact that they have different legal entities. Please let's work on this point as it is crucial to investigate it in detail. Thank you once again for your actions Jill! 🙂 Warm regards, NickRe: Legal Parameters for Indirect Reseller case in CSP Program
Hi there Nick_Beacroft, Thank you for participating and contributing in this case. To my point of view, the reseller buys the licenses from us in the level of an Indirect Reseller and not an end-customer. Therefore, as each subsidiary has its own unique legal entity, they will be able to deliver licenses and subscriptions to each unique tenant. Let's see what the team has to say on this. It is indeed interesting to know! Warm regards, Nick669Views0likes10CommentsLegal Parameters for Indirect Reseller case in CSP Program
Dear community, We are an Indirect Provider in CSP, located in EU (CEMA Region). We would like your precious help to resolve a legal question that bothers us. The case: one of our resellers has numerous subsidiaries with all of them having different legal entities. The question: does our reseller, as being an indirect reseller in CSP will be able to buy license from us (as his Indirect Provider) and then resell these licenses to the subsidiaries, which in CSP languague will be their end customers (i.e., due to the fact that each one of them has their own legal entity). Could you please help us understand if there is any confict following the case details? Any link to the appropriate documentation will help us. The one we were reviewing can be found here. Thank you in advance for your significant support and help! Warm regards, Nick cc JillArmourMicrosoft JillArmourPenalty when cancelling an Azure Reserved Instance PAYG subscription
