Okay, There is Defender for cloud… Comes with 2 plans (DFE plan 1 & 2) There is also DFE for Business servers which is limited to 60 licences per sku. Ms have now returned the per user DFE Server licence which is nothing to do with Defender for cloud… where is the documentation for this licence.DFE Server Licencing
Can someone please help /update material. You can currently licencing servers within MDE through the following: Defender for Cloud /& Arc Defender for Business Servers Which is well documented. However if you remember, Microsoft removed the Defender for Servers (Standalone) SKU last year which forced user to use consumption based model if enterprise instead of "per user". Microsoft have now rectified this and placed the SKU "Defender for Servers (Standalone)" back on the pricefile for CSP's to purchase. However the documentation on ALL the Microsoft docs does not reflect this at all. We are updating Microsoft Secure Score improvement actions to ensure a more accurate representation of security posture. Hi All, Would be great if we could search UPN's /or Display names within the devices pane. In DFE you have to search the devices name however can be very time consuming as you have to open endpoint manager locate the device via the user name then switch back... Thank you.Mixed Licencing - DFE
Hi All, I've acquired x2 Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Plan 2 licences and x1 Microsoft Defender for Business Licences. However my Subscription state in the console is "Defender for Business". I've enabled preview features for the mixed licencing scenario however still won't let me manage the state. I'm also a global admin, does it take time for the setting to apply?Defender for Office 365 Plan 1
Hello All, In Microsoft Defender for Office 365 P2, the primary hunting tool is called Threat Explorer rather than Real-time detections. If you see Threat Explorer when you navigate to the Microsoft 365 Defender portal, you're in Microsoft Defender for Office 365 P2. Question - How do you roll back from DFO Plan 2 to Plan 1? Hi All, Sharing the following as we had multiple users raise the below concern - "The O365 threat intelligence Toggle within Defender is currently in a pending state and displays a message advising you don't have a qualifying licence" This is a known issue, Microsoft have deprecated the toggle as Threat Intelligence is now built into Defender - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/office-365-security/integrate-office-365-ti-with-mde?view=o365-worldwide#to-integrate-microsoft-defender-for-office-365-with-microsoft-defender-for-endpoint Any questions, please let me know.
