Guest account for AAD Devices
Hello Community, I have the following problem: as I have just been informed, some of the employees sometimes make their notebooks available to the participants during a training course purely for research purposes on the Internet. This is done because there are no extra devices for this and the participants themselves do not have notebooks. Now I have thought about how to realise this so that the participants could do research on the company devices without having access to the company network. I would simply set up a new group and withdraw access to all cloud apps from this group via conditional access. Can I do this or should I take further precautions to ensure that these participants cannot access internal data under any circumstances? Thank you very muchChange from Pro to Pro N?
I have a problem, after moving to the AAD, we have a few Windows devices that were upgraded to Windows 11 Pro in advance for enrollment via autopilot, this was done at that time with the generic Pro key "3V66T", as there were no license keys yet (accounting problem etc.) Now we have bought Windows 11 Pro N licenses for the remaining devices, as we are a non-profit company...now of course these cannot be installed because the Windows edition does not match. Is there any way to change the Windows edition from Pro to Pro N without a reinstallation or in-place upgrade? According to our dealer, we can no longer return or convert the keys kind regards561Views0likes0CommentsList of all licenses and their meaning and function?
Hey Folk, I need help because I don't know exactly which license is actually responsible for what due to the large number of licenses. I would like to assign the necessary licenses to a group as precisely as possible and remove those that are not required. To do this, however, I need to know exactly which services are behind it, here is a list attached via screenshot. In my specific case, it's about intune managed devices whose users mainly use office, exchange, onedrive, sharepoint and teams. Does microsoft have a list of these anywhere? Thank you!710Views0likes1Commentlocal network connection cannot be accessed after reboot (AAD)
Hello, we have yesterday successfully joined devices to the AAD, everything works so far (except Silently Sign In at OneDrive 😉 ) But something else, we also have a local NAS and the drives are not connected properly after every reboot of the user, the access is acknowledged with the error message that the device name is already used. There helps only a net use delete etc. but it would be nice if I do not have to run an extra script before. ThanksSolved1.4KViews0likes2CommentsCollect Autopilot hashes without big user interaction?
Hi there, is there a way to collect the hashes for the autopilot from existing local Windows 10/11 devices without guiding the user through a powershell script? You can also export the management protocols directly via the GUI, is there perhaps a batch for this? Thanks a lotSolved1.9KViews1like3CommentsRe: intune Autopilot deployment profile get not assigned
I thought I can register a new device with the appropriate user and the registration etc. happens by itself. Isn't that the point of intune and the autopilot? If i have to add the device to the autopilot first, isn't that totally inconvenient?!9KViews0likes11Commentsintune Autopilot deployment profile get not assigned
Hi all, my first question and certainly not my last. I am currently testing to get my first local devices into the AAD. So far everything has worked, the join and the policies are assigned, under autopilot is my test device as assigned too. However, I have no assigned devices under my deployment profile. This apparently has the effect that my user is administrator, although the profile is set to standarduser and also the device name is not taken from the profile. Need help 😉 Thanks a lot!Solved9.3KViews0likes15CommentsUpgrade Home to Pro for AAD
Hello, I would like to join various devices into the AAD. However, there are still various devices with Windows Home instead of Pro. Is there an easy way to upgrade the versions to Pro without having to buy an extra Pro version? In AD there will be a Windows Business/Enterprise license for each user. ThanksSolved714Views0likes1Comment
