Re: Bookings is acting up since the end of november - lot of issues
We have identified a new problem on our end: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-bookings/export-data-displays-client-name-within-service-name/m-p/4040622 The exported data from MS Bookings (.tsv) now includes the client's name along with the service name, a situation that did not occur before mid-December. This is posing a significant problem for our data compilation process. Before mid-December, the client's name, along with the service name, was only visible in the Outlook Calendar, this feature was convenient. However, we do not wish for this feature to be present in the exported data from Microsoft Bookings, as it renders the data unusable for our reports.4.4KViews1like0CommentsExport Data Displays Client Name Within Service Name
We encountered significant problems with Microsoft Bookings from late November through mid-December. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-bookings/bookings-is-acting-up-since-the-end-of-november-lot-of-issues/m-p/4007098#M6546 The issues were resolved in mid-December. However, following the resolution, we have observed a problem with our Microsoft Bookings Exportation (.tsv) feature. Before mid-December, the client's name, along with the service name, was visible in the Outlook Calendar, providing a convenient overview of appointment information without the need to click for full details. Unfortunately, since mid-December, this information is also displaying on the Microsoft Bookings side. Consequently, this is impacting all our exports and data derived from this solution. Accurately compiling the data has become a significant challenge and is nearly impossible, resulting in errors on reports, given that the client's name is now visible across all services. Could you kindly investigate and address this issue exclusively on the MS Bookings data side? We would like the client's name to continue appearing on the Outlook calendar while resolving the unintended display on the Microsoft Bookings side. Thank you!Re: Bookings is acting up since the end of november - lot of issues
Just to let know everyone, there has been a change in the behavior mentioned: - Internal note are showing since this morning - Teams link are showing correctly as well in calendar event - There is still some issue with language formatting in email, but it seems to currently only affect email sent to users (not customers). There is english with french in the title of the email only. This is not impacting the client. - The only major issue still unresolved is the reply email sent multiple times to the same customer.5.1KViews1like0CommentsRe: Bookings is acting up since mid-august - lot of issues
Yes, I've been experiencing the same problem on my end since November 29th, and this issue also occurred last September. The event in the Outlook Calendar appears like this, with broken formatting for the .ics, instead of the usual formatting with a URL and an internal note. Due to this issue, we are unable to view internal notes from the customer, the Teams link is broken, and all the information that should be displayed in the event is compressed strangely into one line.895Views1like1CommentBookings is acting up since the end of november - lot of issues
This ticket is a follow up of an old ticket I opened in september (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-bookings/bookings-is-acting-up-since-mid-august-lot-of-issues/m-p/3922506) Bookings shows various issues particularly since the end of november (to be more precise, on november 28th). Here are the issues we are able to trace up: No internal note are shown in Outlook or Bookings calendar. Email are not formatted with the correct language, despite the page is correctly configurated. Teams link in Bookings calendar are broke (shown in plain text) when you open an event. .ICS of every Bookings event in outlook and bookings appear weirldy formatted. The most significant problem is that reminder emails are being sent in duplicate, triplicate, and sometimes even six times to clients. Clients are displeased with the spam they receive from MS Bookings regarding their appointments. This is causing significant problems for our enterprise. We presently have two reminders email setup for client; 3 days before and one day before the appointment, and presently, if the appointment is taken within 24 hours, the two reminders emails are sent right after the confirmation email, resulting in spam. This behavior is abnormal and not in line with Microsoft Bookings' usual functionality. We currently have approximately 80 Bookings pages in use, with around 2000 appointments scheduled each month. MS Bookings has been tested in our environment since December 2022 and implemented with customers since April 2022. This is the second time we've encountered such issues. It significantly impacts our trust in this solution and prompts us to reconsider the reliability MS Bookings is providing. Could you please provide a quick response regarding these issues? They all emerged simultaneously. I believe this is not a coincidence. Has Microsoft made any changes on their end?5.4KViews3likes11CommentsRe: Bookings confirmations all squished
I am also having this issue, precisely since november 28th, along with all those issues: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-bookings/bookings-is-acting-up-since-the-end-of-november-lot-of-issues/m-p/4007098#M6546 This issue has also been going on last september, and fixed by microsoft on september 13, but seems to be back. Here is my original post: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-bookings/bookings-is-acting-up-since-mid-august-lot-of-issues/m-p/4007090#M6545 I am going to open a Ticket directly with Microsoft and hope for an answer on their part.1.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Bookings is acting up since mid-august - lot of issues
Just to inform everyone, I originally created this post in September. The problem was resolved around September 13th. Unfortunately, some of the issues mentioned in this post resurfaced on November 29th: Internal notes are not displaying. Teams links in the Bookings calendar are broken (the .ics content of an event is corrupted). The most significant problem is that reminder emails are being sent in duplicate, triplicate, and sometimes even six times to clients. Clients are displeased with the spam they receive from MS Bookings regarding their appointments. This is causing significant problems for our enterprise. We currently have approximately 80 Bookings pages in use, with around 2000 appointments scheduled each month. I'm experiencing the same problem with UTC and reminder emails, and it's causing significant challenges. We may have identified a solution for this issue. It still needs thorough testing with a client, but the problem occurred for one of our users. Upon inspecting her Office Portal, we discovered that it was configured in UTC time. After changing her Office portal to the correct time zone, the appointments started displaying correctly. As mentioned, we're awaiting feedback from a client to ensure the issue is resolved.2.2KViews0likes4CommentsMS Bookings Tracking Data (refID) generate bad request page.
Starting this week, specifically on November 15th, our implementation of refID in MS Bookings URL is resulting in a bad request page. Up until this week, our marketing teams successfully utilized tracking data on both services and pages without any issues. We have a total of 80 pages plus their services, but currently, only one is functioning properly with refID in URLs. The problem is also visible on the Microsoft tutorial page. When clicking on the link with the provided refID (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/bookings/customize-booking-page?view=o365-worldwide), it leads to the same bad request page. Have there been any modifications on Microsoft's end since last week? The ongoing marketing campaign is being significantly affected as clients are unable to utilize the provided links.524Views0likes0CommentsText modification needed for french version
We are encountering translation issues in French when the MS Bookings page is set up in French. There are two points causing problems for our customers: 1. On the confirmation page, after the client has made a reschedule reservation, we observe that an English message appears: When the appointment is set up in French, the displayed message is as follows: When the appointment is configured in French, the message displayed should not contain two dots (".."). Instead, we would like to see a period at the end of both sentences to maintain proper French punctuation 2. Additionally, when the client cancels the reservation, the email they receive displays this message in English: In French, the displayed message is as follows: In the French version, the translation is not accurate and leads to some confusion regarding its written form. It would be better if it were written as follows: "Ceci est pour vous informer que votre service a été annulé." Could it be possible to make those changes for the french translation please? Thank you!329Views0likes0CommentsExport tracking data with Graph API
We are currently working on exporting data from MS Bookings pages using the Microsoft Graph API. We are having difficulties gathering "Tracking Data" information. According to your documentation, it is possible to export data manually that included specific field (see this documentation https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/bookings/reporting-info?view=o365-worldwide), but some of the fields (tracking data) included in the improved report section are not available if extracted automatically with Microsoft Graph. Is there a possibility to export the Tracking Data automatically through a script, rather than accessing each pages and processing manually?Bookings is acting up since mid-august - lot of issues
Bookings shows various issues particularly since the beginning of September, but we are able to trace up few issues since mid-august. Here are few of the major issues we are aware presently: No email sent to the Bookings owner and no update in outlook when the client rescheduled. Only the client will have the email and the update of the appointment. Resulting no show from us for the client. No internal note are shown in Outlook or Bookings calendar. Instead the information of the client and meeting are shown in a weird formatting. Email are not formatted with the correct language, despite the page is correctly configurated. Teams link in Bookings calendar are broke (shown in plain text) and does not show correctly in email (not a button but a long hyperlink) Event on outlook calendar does not show the client name, we need to open the calendar appointment to see this information. Few of these issues are really major and impacting the appointment with client. What is going on? Are Microsoft aware of these bug and working on them?4.5KViews4likes30CommentsRe: Various issues in Bookings currently
Your screenshot show exactly the issue we are having since mid-august. The note section is often used by assistant while making an appointment , and usually it would be shown where customer info is appearing in your screenshot. Now, the customer info in shown in plain text with weird formatting, and the hyperlink to the teams meeting is shown in plain text. It is not what we are expecting since the notes are used by assistant when Bookings for representative people.8.5KViews0likes0Comments
