Imap in O365
Hello, We're currently in hybrid mode with O365 and AD connect, I have a question regarding imap with O365. If we have an application on premise that will need to use imap to send/receive email, I would think we'll need to open those ports to/from O365. Which direction would imap use both 993 and 587? Hi All, I just received my hardware tokens to set up for a few users in our organization that do not have access to company mobile devices. I have uploaded the .csv files with the required information in our Azure portal and it successfully uploaded. I am not able to activate the token, it keeps failing but I’m not sure why and I don’t really get a reason. Is there a clearer way to set this up or do I need to enable something before I set this up. I would like this set up before the end of the week, any help is appreciated. Hi All, we are currently in hybrid exchange mode using ad connect to sync to Azure. We've been experiencing skype for business password issues when a user changes his/her password and then locks their account out. If we clear their sign in info, it works just fine but we're concerned that there is a larger issue at hand and we'd like to prevent help desk calls going forward. Has anyone experienced this or have any input into it? We've run the outlook diagnostics tool and it found an issue with our CNAME dns record, it came up as " we didnt detect any CNAME records for "autodiscover.ourdomain.com". Sure, we have a really important application that needs and uses mailbox and they're requirement is IMAP, we obviously pushed back on this but have no choice but to turn IMAP on for this application. I would like to do it in the most secure manner possible, we don't have those ports open. This is the reason I was asking about VPN. If a VPN is not feasible for this one application/server then perhaps we can use access lists to open those ports specifically to those servers rather than open it globally. Disable PST creation all office versions
Hello All, We're in the middle of migrating to office 365 and would like to disable PST's. What is the best way to disable creation of new pst's across all versions of office? Hello All! Has anyone used the exchange migration tools and if so did you have public folders? I'm looking at different tools such as skykick but it looks like the built in tools can do everything so I'm trying to justify why we would use third party tools? Let me know.
