Questions on Restricted SharePoint Search
Hello, I have questions on Restricted SharePoint Search that enables us to refer to only allowed onedrive and sharepoint sites. 1. If one's onedrive excluded from allowed site list, can a user refer documents in it's own onedrive? 2. If yes to question 1, can a user use copilot on working documents? (The documents located in onedrive excluded from allowed site list.) Thank you.Solved1.2KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Which File Extention can reference on each apps?
Thank you for the reply. Those three are still vague.. Have you experience M365 Copilot? Excel Copilot seems that it cannot generate contents on the sheet using other excel file reference. Teams Chat Copilot seems that it can only generate contents through teams chat thread, and it is vague that it can generate contents from excel, powerpoint, word, pdf, etc. I need a real use case to firmly aware of m365 copilot usage. Thank you.2.3KViews0likes1CommentWhich File Extention can reference on each apps?
Hello, I noticed through below link that powerpoint copilot can refer to only word documents. https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/office/create-a-new-presentation-with-copilot-in-powerpoint-3222ee03-f5a4-4d27-8642-9c387ab4854d Other apps, however, are vague that other apps can refer to word, powerpoint, excel documents. Which documents Word copilot can refer (in Word case, I understand that up to 3 files are available to refer, but it seemed only word, powerpoint, and onenote) Which documents Excel copilot can refer Which documents Teams chat copilot can refer I would like to know those details. Thank you in advance.2.7KViews0likes5CommentsRe: How to migrate mailbox with over 500 GB - Migration from GWS to M365
Hello, Thanks for your advice. We have tried to contact MS SR once, and only got the link below. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/exchange-team-blog/office-365-auto-expanding-archives-faq/ba-p/607784 Have you ever experienced to contact Microsoft support directly for addressing migration for large mailbox?1.7KViews0likes0CommentsHow to migrate mailbox with over 500 GB - Migration from GWS to M365
Hello, I am trying to migrate GWS mailboxes with over 500 GB to M365 utilizing third-party tool. I have around 50 mailboxes over 200 GB and 10 mailboxes over 500 GB. With third-party tool, I can migrate Gmail to archive mailbox of M365. and I am aware of the fact that it needs auto-expanding feature of archive mailbox. So I have enabled auto-expanding feature for those archive mailbox. However, the thing is the daily growth rate and It cannot exceed 1GB/day as I noticed through below link. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/purview/enable-autoexpanding-archiving#more-information The link says like this. Auto-expanding archiving is supported only for mailboxes used by individual users or for shared mailboxes with a growth rate that doesn't exceed 1 GB per day. Is there any way to speed up the growth rate? And provisioning speed also matters. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/purview/enable-autoexpanding-archiving#before-you-enable-auto-expanding-archiving the link goes like under. After you turn on auto-expanding archiving, an archive mailbox is converted to an auto-expanding archive when the archive mailbox (including the Recoverable Items folder) reaches 90 GB. It can take up to 30 days for the additional storage space to be provisioned. Is there any way to shorten the days for the additional storage space to be provisioned? How can I overcome this circumstances? or is there an other method to do this? Thank you in advance.574Views0likes2CommentsHow to migrate mailbox with over 500 GB - Migration from GWS to M365

Is Microsoft 365 Copilot retrieve information from public internet, when we prompt? No, I guess. I believe that it retrieves data from Microsoft graph, plug-ins, and other connected external sources. Just to be clear about Microsoft 365 Copilot. Thank you in advance.2.2KViews0likes3CommentsAfter Microsoft Graph Connector non-aad user sync, search works with non-aad user's permission?
Hello, This is Johnny. I am wondering after syncing aad users and non-aad users when we build Microsoft Graph Connector, search works with non-aad user's permission? For example, non-aad users have it's permission to access external data source such as Salesforce. And After syncing aad users and non-aad users, aad users synced with non-aad users access the data in external data sources with it's original data access permissions(Salesforce data access permissions) applied? I have read the below docs, and it seems like just mapping the user and aad users can access all the data in Salesforce. https://learn.microsoft.com/ko-kr/microsoftsearch/configure-connector#step-5-manage-search-permissions https://learn.microsoft.com/ko-kr/microsoftsearch/salesforce-connector Thank you in advance!567Views0likes2CommentsRe: M365 Copilot = The combination of Azure Cognitive Search & Azure Open AI?
Hi GabeHo, Thank you for sharing the video. Upon watching this, I think that saying querying Microsoft Graph would be appropriate. And speaking of in-app experience directly integrated into the various Microsoft 365 apps and services, which apps are included in various Microsoft 365 apps? I am aware of the fact that it supports word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, teams, and what else?5.4KViews0likes2CommentsM365 Copilot = The combination of Azure Cognitive Search & Azure Open AI?
Hello, this is Johnny. Recently, many enterprise are considering Architecture like the url : https://github.com/Azure-Samples/azure-search-openai-demo#chatgpt--enterprise-data-with-azure-openai-and-cognitive-search Configuring Data Source, and index data source utilizing Cognitive Search, and OpenAI pull response to users out of the indexed data. In that sense, is it possible to use M365 Copilot can replace the architecture mentioned earlier? Data Source = SharePoint Cognitive Search = Symentic Index OpenAI = LLM that m365 copilot uses. Thank you in advance.Solved6KViews2likes8CommentsHow can M365 Copilot use On-Prem File Storage as a sourse of microsoft graph? And it's security?
Hello this is Johnny, I have two questions as below. 1. Is it available to use microsoft copilot with On-Prem File Storage? I have searched about it, and found that configuring Microsoft Graph Connectors can help Symentic Index to index On-Prem File Storage. Is this correct? 2. If yes, how can I restrict access to On-Prem File Storage, for On-Prem File Storage does not have any permission aligned with AAD User and Group? Thank you in advance.20KViews0likes1CommentM365 Copilot on what apps?
According to Introduction of Copilot, I could find the line below. Copilot works alongside you, embedded in the Microsoft 365 apps you use every day—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and more. What's more in "and more" ? Can Access, Visio, and OneNote also use M365 Copilot? Thank you in advance.Solved14KViews2likes2Comments
