Excel Sort is broken
I have no idea how this problem happened. I have an Excel spreadsheet that's just under 500 lines long. I keep dates and times and hours in it. I enter the data one new week at a time at the top. I occasionally grab a block of a few weeks and copy it to the right and then sort by date to change it from newest first to oldest first. This has always been a no brainer. Very easy to do. Today, it didn't work. Furthermore, trying to reverse sort the previous blocks of data, which I leave hanging around on the right, is no longer working. I went through the update process to see if I somehow missed something. Also, I don't use any add-ins. Again, doing a sort on something which sorted days ago no longer works. Has this broken for anyone else?Solved154Views0likes1CommentRe: How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
No, it's not. I have Windows 11 Home Version 22H2 OS Build 22621.2428 with Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22674.1000.0 on an Asus VivoBook that I got in late 2019 and THERE IS STILL NO NEVER COMBINE TASKBAR BUTTONS option. It's not there. This is why I don't upgrade any of my other machines and I don't let any of my clients, friends, or family do it, either. The OS is, for me, nearly UNUSABLE without NEVER COMBINE TASKBAR BUTTONS and I don't want to install 3rd party programs on this particular machine. I already have SylphyHorn on my power w10 machine, because Microsoft still doesn't do the desktop switching task well. If someone tells you otherwise, challenge them for version info, etc.6.6KViews1like6CommentsRe: How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?

There are thousands of messages about this problem. No one needs to search for guides. There are workarounds, but these are not possible for most people in a corporate or other controlled environment. You won't find a guide for doing this within windows 11, since Microsoft removed the "option" in Windows 11.6.6KViews1like0CommentsRe: How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
I would always expect a newer OS to run slower on the same old hardware. I don't have a problem with that. That's the cost we've always paid for major upgrades. But I do have a problem with Microsoft disabling a setting which is not a "feature", but an expected configuration. Give it back!3.2KViews4likes0CommentsRe: How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but you've just described how to accomplish that in Windows 10. Ten as in 10 as in 2x5=10. At the present time, there is no such option in Windows 11. Eleven, as in, 7-11, but 11 not 7. There wouldn't be hundreds of messages in here if your suggestion worked for Windows 11.6.4KViews7likes0CommentsRe: How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
I highly doubt it. Gates would have bought this from the developer and made the guy rich. Because good code is good code and if someone else wrote good code, Gates was smart enough to buy it and use it as a starting point. FIX IT!6.6KViews4likes1Comment
