Possible to disable incoming PSTN call notifications in Teams for Windows
I have some users that have Teams Phone desk phones and would like to have the incoming PSTN call notifications disabled in the Teams for Windows desktop app as the notification window blocks a certain part of their CRM. Is this possible by adjust a setting, they would quite like to keep the Teams app open and signed in but will not if the call notification Window cannot be turned off.228Views0likes0CommentsUnable to save PDFs
When opening certain PDF files using the in browser PDF viewer (Adobe engine) the save button is greyed out, also it tends to be when this message is displayed "This document is digitally signed. Some signatures couldn't be verified." Windows 11, Edge128.0.2739.42, works fine in Chrome Example document link,https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/60b74244e90e0732b2acacb6/PA15_0421_save.pdf Any ideas?238Views0likes0CommentsRe: Email body blank for some messages in Outlook with Exchange accounts in cache mode
We are still working with MS support on this but have narrowed it down to flagged messages, they are getting us try try various things including making sure the user is signed in to to do. I will update further if we get any additional information or a resolution.14KViews0likes4CommentsEmail body blank for some messages in Outlook with Exchange accounts in cache mode
As per the thread title we have a user that has random messages in their Outlook exchange accounts showing no information in the message body for random emails, the emails are fine in online mode, OWA and mobile. If we delete the local OSTs and let them re-download it is fine for a few days then the user starts seeing some blank emails again, there does not appear to be a pattern as to which ones. Things we have tried include:- Re-installed Office (apps for business) Re-installed Windows Turned off ESET mail scanning Tested with old Office builds Any further suggestions much appreciated, it really is just this one particular user.16KViews0likes10CommentsWho can use compliance manager?
I want to take a serious look at compliance manager over the next few weeks and as such I am trying to figure out which of our customers would able to use it. I have noticed that clients that only have Exchange Online Plan 1 licenses can access it, are these clients able to use it and are there any restrictions due to not having any SharePoint licenced products in their tenant?Solved1.6KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Bookmarks and Password synchronization issue in Edge with O365 E1 Accounts
This is indeed a crazy move, I have many clients with Microsoft 365 Business Essentials and Microsoft 365 Business Standard that cannot sync (enterprise sync), I have seen others talking about creating personal MSA for these type of users just so they cdan sync browser data whihc sounds like a nightmare to me. Please consider bringing enterpise sync to all org accounts that have a paid license assigned.2.8KViews1like0CommentsExchange 2007 to Exchange Online Migration including public folders
Is it not possible to batch migrate Exchange 2007 legacy public folders to Exchange Online any longer? I notice the docs have been updated at some point and now show 2007 as not being supported. This is an old SBS 2008 box on a tiny network so I'm trying to avoid adding another on prem Exchange box just to be able to do the migration. Has anybody done a 2007 box recently and more importantly the public folders?511Views0likes0CommentsRe: [New!] Drag and drop conversations into groups
I see this has recently slipped toQ1 CY2020, thats disappointing. I have a bunch of customers I need to migrate from on prem Exchange 2010 to Office 365 and they are heavy public folder users, I was hoping to migrate them to groups. Alas now this feature has slipped I am going to have to weigh up keeping them on public folders which I didn't really want to do. Sri Ramya Mallipudi Has this really slipped all the way into next year?5KViews0likes1CommentRe: When moving a file from OneDrive to SharePoint the file is also added to the recycle bin.. strange!?
StephenRice This is also causing problems for some of my clients, it is my understanding that if you are moving files/folders within the same sharepoint document library that a copy of those items should not be placed in the recycle bin. This is mostly how it works but sometimes my client has something wacky go on with the move and ends up with the copies in the recycle bin, cue the client panicking and restoring those items to the original location causing alot of confusion. Can anybody explain what has gone on in this screenshot as my colleague witnessed this and we believe it is related to the problem.2.4KViews0likes1CommentCan we get the Office Default File Types dialog updated?
I know this might seem petty but is there any chance MS can update the "Welcome to Microsoft Office" "Default File Types" dialog to match the new office style? Its basically the same as it been since Office 2010 with the logo switched out when 2013 lanched. Dylan_Snodgrasscan you tag any Office PMs in this?1.8KViews0likes0CommentsExchange 2010 to Office 365 migration large public folders, options?
I thought I was done with on prem with only a single SBS 2011 box to support but now I have acquired four new clients all running Exchange 2010. One of these in particular has a fairly large public folder database (the file is around 300GB), I will aim to migrate all of these customers to Office 365 and am fairly confident in managing that for the user mailboxes but I'm unsure of the migration path for these public folders, they are used to store mail items relating to various projects/jobs. I have been looking at the various materials and I'm still not clear on the best path forward, do I just migrate to modern public folders in Office 365 and the users carry on the same way as they always have or do we migrate to Office 365 groups? Will that size be a problem or is this fairly typical? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.998Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft 365 Business & Windows 10 Pro upgrade rights
I see this line listed in the Microsoft 365 Business FAQ on the main MS website "*Windows 10 Pro upgrade rights are included with the Microsoft 365 Business preview if the target machines are presently running Windows 7, 8, or 8.1." I take it now M365 Business is out of preview this is no longer the case? Could we get this text removed from the website so not to confuse any end users? Its a shame this wasn't included in the final product as lots of SMBs have machines with home versions of Windows installed with no cost effective way to upgrade them other than wait until the machine is due for replacement.9.6KViews0likes2CommentsPassword change notification service TLS 1.0 only
Are there any plans to update PCNS to support TLS 1.1 & 1.2 ? I have this running for the Office 365 integration on several 2012 R2 essentials boxes but it fails if TLS 1.0 is disabled (required for PCI compliance).
