Regards, Microsoft Licensing ConciergeRe: ECIF Funding Milestone Date Changes
Hi KusumReddy Unfortunately, I do not have the answer to your question. As far as I know, when you have ECIF questions, you should submit requests via OneAsk (or via AWR if in the Americas) and follow all ECIF compliance rules. Operational questions should be directed to the global OneAsk Support team, or to your local ECIF lead (if you have one). HaNGUYEN2708 You are correct, the CSP program allows you to sell to SaaS. Unfortunately, I do not have information on how to sell PaaS, however, you can either: click on the PaaS link >>select contact sales >> scroll down to Connect with an Azure Partner or, contact one of the applicable support teams - Which support portal should I use? - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn Regards, Microsoft CSP Licensing ConciergeRe: Silver Partner
Hi VijuVCIT There is not enough information to answer your question. Additionally, renewing depends on certain factors. That said, please start by reviewing the following - Solutions Partner - frequently asked questions - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn If applicable, you should proceed by reviewing the following document that's found in Partner Center - Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program FAQ CSP Partners can log into Partner Center to find resources such as the FAQ that I listed above, as well as the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program benefits guide. If after reviewing the resources above you have additional questions, please let me know. If you are a Microsoft Reseller in CSP, you should work with your Indirect Provider (aka Distributor) who has a direct relationship with Microsoft and can provide you with customer support, pricing, and billing that help to ensure your success. If this reply answers your question, please Accept as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly. Otherwise, if after reviewing the information you have additional questions, please let me know. Hi CrmAlex, Are the users your employees? If not, CSP Partners have access to the D365 License Guide (LG) that can be found by logging into Partner Center. On pg.43 explains how to license external users. If the users are employees, pg.43 confirms that "External user access does not extend to your employees, onsite or independent contractors, vendors, agents, or those of your affiliates who are providing business processes on behalf of you or your affiliate. Those users are considered internal users." Please carefully review the LG to further details. If after reviewing the LG you have additional questions, please let me know. Hi Baigoi How do you deal with a customer who wants to connect with Microsoft support directly instead of relaying their issues through CSP? CSP partners provide technical and billing support for their resellers and customers. Customers (and resellers) will not be able to get support directly from Microsoft – only the CSP partner has this ability - Azure Cloud Solution Provider | Microsoft Azure Also, is there a way for them to get access to support at a direct level if they are under Azure CSP? In general, we expect all communications with the customer to come from the CSP partner. Because you own the customer billing relationship, Microsoft won't send communications directly to your customers related to their subscriptions. Microsoft might communicate directly with customers about service incidents or other operational information. For customers that already have existing commercial relationships with Microsoft, Microsoft continues to communicate directly with them about their non-CSP products and services. - Providing different types of support to your customers - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn I believe that the MPA agreement is required for Azure CSP, so it may be helpful for you to review the MPA w/ your customer as it promotes compliance and encourage sound business practices - The Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA) for CSP - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn Hope this helps! Hi piyushme1992 One of our clients is looking for Microsoft Funding that is being provided for new projects/implementations. The client has already checked with Microsoft and the project is eligible for the funding. How can we as Microsoft Partners enable this funding for the client? Please refer to the Microsoft communication where the client was told that they were eligible. This communication should either name the type of funding and/or provide them with the name of the department who confirmed eligibility. Unfortunately, without knowing what type of funding you're asking about, I am unable to provide guidance. Hi MartijnElfers Since a few days we can finally use the NCE Subscription Transfer capability: Transfer a customer's new commerce license-based subscriptions from one transacting Cloud Solution P... But how does the transfer impact promotions, like BttC2, DMWL and others? Above documentation doesn't provide an answer for this. And will this capability also be extended towards Software Subscriptions and Software Perpetual? Great questions. This question was answered in the CSP Technical Training for March call and during that call, it was stated that the seats, price points, promotion from the original subscription will be retained. It was also confirmed that this is not for perpetual. If you want to listen to the call, the P2P transfer topic starts at about the 8:34 - minute mark. Partners can find the CSP Technical Training calls and other resources by scrolling to the bottom of the webpage on the link that you provided, then click on the readiness gallery & FAQ: Download the FAQ and scroll to question #28 to find the links to the resources: Hope this helps! Hi Nick_Beacroft Products that are not GA/generally available are not included in the D365 Licensing Guide. I'm sure pricing & licensing will be provided in the near future, so stay tuned and make sure that you're reviewing partner announcements as well. Microsoft stated that this product will be available in July 2024. Since it's June 2024, the company is providing readiness by announcing the upcoming product. Thanks Nick!2.1KViews1like0CommentsRe: NCE Renewal Window missed
