New behavior including Xerox Print and Scan Experience.
Hi everyone, This week, we started using Universal Print in my organization after a long test period. We noticed something new last week about some of our Xerox printers. Somehow, just below the printer name in the settings page, there is a link saying something like "Software available for this device". See printscreen attached. Clicking on it opens the Microsoft Store and installs Xerox Print and Scan Experience. This installation causes an error when we try to print using our Universal Print printers. Removing it fixes the problem. Is there something new about Universal Print OR Universal Print Class Driver? What has changed last week that causes this? Anyone has some information about this? Hi everyone, My organization is migrating to Universal Print and I am new on the project! We are installing our printers on a Windows Server and using Print Connector to register them in Universal Print. One of my customer told me he could send faxes to his Lexmark MX511de before the migration. The option doesn't seem to be there when he install the printer from Universal Print. I have looked around in all the options on the client and in Microsoft Azure but I can't seem to find anything. I have read the documentation and nothing mention compatibility with fax. I was thinking this might not be compatible just like label printing OR Microsoft Azure doesn't see the option on the printer because the firmware might not be up-to-date?
