Registering byod iso in intune does not show serial number or phone number.
I configured Intune to register personal iOS devices. After completing the setup, I was able to register my device in Intune that showed the Serial Number, Phone Number and required apps installed sucessfully. I tested this several time with my device by Retiring my device and going thru the installation again which was always sucessful. Then I retired my phone a final time to document the process for my end users. Once the phone was registered (shows compliant, the Serial Number, Phone Number is blank in the overview) and the required apps show Waiting for install status. I thought maybe it was just my phone so I had an end user follow the documentation but came up with the same results. No other changes were made during this time. I configured Intune to setup BYOD iOS personal devices. Everything was working. I retired my phone from Intune so that I could document the process. After documenting the process, I noticed that the required applications were not installing even after several days. While my phone shows Compliant in Intune, I did noticed that the Serial and Phone numbers of the phone were not being populated in the Overview. Also I check the help & support page. In Intune, I have 3 Compliance Policies for this type of device. Everything works as it should and the device and policies show compliant. On the device when a user opens Outlook, they Add Account, their email address is displayed and the select Add, then get they following error: Any idea how to fix this?Azure Join Failing at Device Setup
I build 2 VM's, Windows 10 and Windows 11. Both install fine from Intune. The laptop fails at Device Setup. Our organization has both Corporate and Personal devices within Intune. When setting up Apps, the Managed App section of the device shows too many of the same app since they are assigned to All Users. (iOS store app vs iOS volume purchase program app) Is there a way that when a user enrolls their device, they can be added to a dynamic user group based on the device group the device is enrolled in?Windows Autopilot device(s) could not be imported
I ran the Get-WindowsAutopilotInfo.ps1 on two computers, one was a VMware VM and the other was a Dell Laptop. The VMware VM .csv file imported with no problems, but the Dell laptop stopped with the error in the subject. Any ideas why? I checked the headers of both files and they are correct along with the comma's in the right place. No other characters in the hash like "".Conditional Access Applications
When I review the applicaitons in Conditional Access Overview, I see under Users without coverage Microsoft Authentication Broker with most employees listed (ie: 33 out of 33). Most status is Success but Conditioal Access shows Not Applied. Is this a normal behavior or am I missing something under Policy? I have a Policy -Require MFA for internal users (admins not included) - Basic where the Control selected is Requred multifactor authentication. We have all users using the Microsoft Authenticator app.Software Center Not Updating on certain devices
I have a new build of MECM. I created 7 devices that have different OS's on them. They are in Active Directory and Discovery Found them. The agent is installed on all 7 with a green check box next to them in the console. They are all in a device collection, recognized by the Client Settings. I modified the Software Center to resemble the colors of our company and logo. On some of the above devices, the new Software Center shows. On the others, it is the generic one that comes out of the box. Strange is that I built 2 Windows 10 machines, one x64 the ohter x86. The X64 has the new center where the x86 has the old. Server 2012 R2 and 2022 have the correct center but 2016 and 2019 do not. How best to diagnose this to find out why some are working properly and other are not?Software Center is not showing correctly on new Windows 10 clients
I have created a new MECM system. Currently at the testing stage of installing the agent onto the devices. All the OS's that I have installed, Windows 10 is the only one that will not update Software Center to the modified version. It still has the IT Organization in blue where as the other OS's have what I customized. The Windows 10 device is within the boundry group and is getting the client settings. I added it and a Windows 11 device at the same time and the Windows 11 is getting the new Software Center. Both systems are also getting the client certificate. This seems to only happen with Windows 10 Devices. The version is Windows 10 Pro 2004 and MECM is the current version.
