No dynamic values appearing when connecting Flow to a Group Form
I've a basic Group form and when it is submitted I want to use Flow to compose an email using values from the form. However, when I follow this tip - https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Office-365/Flow-does-not-connect-to-Group-Forms/m-p/295047 - and use my Group form ID in the Flow, no options for dynamic values appear. Is that the expected behavior?1.1KViews0likes0CommentsDoes setting an Azure AD Terms of Use (ToU) log the user out of all sessions when triggered?
We set an Azure ToU for staff in the Guest Inviter role. When I tested it against my own account as a guest inviter it worked but the side effect was it logged me out of M365. I was asked to reauthenticate to Yammer and I received an email to say my Flows had stopped working and needed to be reauthenticated? Is this expected behaviour or just coincidence that it happened with 5 minutes of accepting the ToU? Don't suppose you could record a video of setting it up and running it? I tried to get it working but failed somewhere and wasn't sure from the instructions what to expect so I parked it for a later date. edit: got it working thanksRe: why some participants automatically kicked out from meeting chats right after calls?
I've just been asked the same question. In a 150+ meeting where the organiser hadn't set any restrictions on chat. When they ended the meeting it came up with person x and x others no longer have access to the chat. The message was repeated several times with a person's name appearing first and then a number of other users affected. Is this a new thing? What's the criteria for it appearing? edit: my mistake - article New Access Rules for Teams Meeting Chat Membership - Office 365 for IT Pros (office365itpros.com)9.2KViews0likes0CommentsCan I use the App ID in the Teams Admin Apps Usage report to find what Team is using it?
Any ideas how I can use the report to look up which Team/s are using a particular app? Report spreadsheet shows me I've 48 Teams using Trello - but which ones? ChristianBergstrom - thanks, that might explain why I couldn't get auto-promotion to work in my tests in my dev tenant. Have you seen a post or article elsewhere where Microsoft acknowledge it's a bug?3KViews0likes1CommentHow does private channel 'member to owner' promotion happen when last owner leaves org?
Can anyone tell me how member promotion to owner happens when the last owner of a private channel leaves the org? Is it a member of the private channel gets picked at random, or is it a member of the wider Team gets picked? ThanksSolvedRe: What would cause a private channel to no longer be visible in a Team?
ChrisWebbTech thanks. We don't have a retention policy. Seems to be mixed info on this. Some articles suggest the SharePoint site belonging to a private channel is deleted. In my case I'm pretty certain I deleted the channel and the SharePoint site lives on and this was easily over 30 days ago. From Avepoint guide on Private Channels Private channel site collections live and die with their associated channel, so you should not have to worry about the “lifecycle” of these sites separate from the channel. When a private channel is deleted in Microsoft Teams, all of its assets–including the SharePoint site collection–are deleted as well. Teams will allow 30 days for the recovery of that private channel, and if recovered through Teams, the site collection will be restored as well. EDIT: Someone elsewhere kindly pointed out that deleted sites go after 93 days. Seems obvious in hindsight. I blame my lockdown-addled brain. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/restore-deleted-site-collection4.5KViews0likes0CommentsWhat would cause a private channel to no longer be visible in a Team?
I ran a PowerShell report to find private channels in our tenant. I spotted one I thought I'd deleted months ago. It's not visible in the Team UI or via Team settings. It was a demo Team with two of my accounts, one still had access (to the SharePoint site) but also couldn't see it and the other couldn't see it and couldn't access it. When I went to the SharePoint site for this private channel and clicked around it, it appeared to work. When I clicked from the site to 'go to channel conversation' it just comes up with this message. VasilMichev thanks. I've sort of muddled through part of that but couldn't get your quickest method to work. I connected to an online session with the correct role and no joy running it. Would I be correct in saying dn is the username I want to check against i.e firstname.lastname@org.com1.7KViews0likes1CommentRe: Find out if a specific list of email addresses are Team owners and of what Teams
I got the result I wanted. It might not be pretty but it works. #Start here and change role to "Member" if want member Connect-AzureAD Connect-MicrosoftTeams $Owner = 'name@yourorg.com' $Groups = Get-AzureADUser -ObjectId $Owner | Get-AzureADUserMembership | Where-Object {$_.ObjectType -eq 'Group'} $Results = $Groups | ForEach-Object { $TeamID = $_.ObjectID $TeamMembers = Get-TeamUser -GroupId $TeamID $IsOwner = $TeamMembers | Where-Object { $_.User -eq $Owner -and $_.Role -eq "Owner"} if ($IsOwner) { try { Get-Team -GroupID $TeamID | Select-Object -Property DisplayName, Description, Visibility, MailNickName, Classification } catch {} } } if (-not($Results)) { Write-Host "$Owner isn’t an owner/member of any Microsoft Team (depending on role you select)" } Else { Write-Host $Owner $Results } DazzaR1.7KViews0likes3CommentsFind out if a specific list of email addresses are Team owners and of what Teams
Grateful for any help in helping me solve a task for my org. The task is to find out if a group of email addresses are Team owners and of what Teams. I could go one by one and work it out but I'd like something repeatable to run as a report based on a stakeholder providing me with a list of email addresses. I only have Teams admin and SharePoint admin roles. Thanks, DarrelSolved2KViews0likes4Comments
