URL For creating a page from custom template
Hi Is it possible to use a URL in order to create a sharepoint page ( modern) from an existing template? the template is custom ( I created it) So the same as I can run this url to create a blank out of the box page in mysite : https://contoso.sharepoint.com/sites/mysite/_layouts/15/create.aspx Is there a way to run this url with the addition of creating it from my template? The end goal is to have a button the user can click that will lead to new page creation using my template Thanks Gali836Views1like0CommentsBypass Sharepoint Native PAGE Creation via PowerApps
I would like to replace the experience of Sharepoint modern page creation by using PowerApps. Im imagining something like an app that has a customized 'Create new Page' button and this initiates page creation and bypasses the interface of the regular Sharepoint page creation. There are too many buttons and menu options for a user who simply wishes to create a wiki page so I thought I'd bypass it by moving this functionality to an app instead of native Sharepoint Is this possible? and how? GaliPage Creation with Limited Menu Interface
Hi I would like to allow users in a certain Sharepoint site to create wiki pages. however, they are confused by all the menus and options ( page details, analytics) and on the 'New' button they can create new page, news post, space etc... I just want them to have the option to create a new Sharepoint page Is there no way I can eliminate all these menu options for them ? Is there maybe a direct link to the new page creation function in Sharepoint so that maybe I will lead them to a read only page with a button to just click on new page creation? Hi All I am trying to implement a sort of Wiki mechanism using modern pages. the main problems as I see it is with the text editor ( especially adjusting table and column width) and building the pages topic hierarchy which is done artificially by creating highlighted content pages for each topic and manually building the tree in the left hand side menu. Not an easy thing to explain to contributors. So my questions are: 1. Anyone found a solution to the problematic text editor and working with tables? 2. anyone used the Kizcom Enterprise wiki ? 3. Anyone using another wiki tool and integrating it somehow with Sharepoint? Thanks Gali3.1KViews0likes1CommentRedirect One Drive location to a Sharepoint Location or Prompt Message
Hi We are gradually moving from One Drive to Sharepoint. each One drive location is copied to Sharepoint, One Drive is then changed to Read only and the Sharepoint location because active. I do however want to help the users by adding a redirect or some sort of message regarding the new location but I feel that the possibilities are very limited in One Drive Any idea? Hi I would like to create a relationship between 2 Sharepoint lists. but considering the fact that you can only lookup text fields and most of my columns are not text but person/group or choice column. Tom my understanding the only solution to this is to copy each column (such as person) and maintain it also as a text field and then lookup that field, but this is very robust. Still I have no other choice if I would like my data top remain in the Sharepoint realm. So there's no real question here- Im making sure that indeed the only option I have is to create a duplication of each column that I would like to lookup and make it a text field Maybe the solution lies in PowerApps? Because I know you can override the lookup constraint there... Will appreciate any thoughts on this matter before I dive into my ERD GaliSolved2KViews0likes3Comments
