Training for IT Help Desk
If this doesn't belong here, please point to the right direction. My firm is about to deploy Microsoft 365 (don't laugh, we're trying to catch up) - A long while ago and at a different employer, I remember seeing a resource guide for the Help Desk that covered Teams among other applications. Does anyone remember seeing that guide or do you have any resources to get an IT Help Desk Staff ready to go for a launch? I found that aka site, but it doesn't work for me. Thanks!Solved7KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Difficulty Finding the Champion Resources Webpage with Call Info
Ashley Hello! So you're not missing anything, there is no link to the Champions Resource page from the Become a Champion website. Once you express your interest, an email is then sent to you as a "Welcome Resource" which will onboard you to the other sites such as this page, the adoption.microsoft.com and it'll provide the link to the Champion Resource Page. As a registered champion, you'll also get the reminder email about the monthly calls. The Become a Champion page is a way to drive those interested into registering, so hence, no link to the Champion Resource page.849Views2likes1CommentRe: SPO Swag for Champions
Hello Laura - I'm not sure if your company works directly with Microsoft or purchases their licensing through a third-party, however, if you do have a Microsoft Account Executive, you can work through your CSM to get some swag. I usually get my swag from my Account Executive.1KViews1like1CommentRe: Driving Adoption as a new system engineer joining a new team
Whew... this is not going to be easy to answer, so I'll give you some resources first. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0FAdQYxXOA - Watch this video from Karuana first. This video is less than four minutes long, but she'll go through all of the adoption resources available. Join this community on LinkedIn. https://www.linkedin.com/groups/12183406/ - it's a place where other Microsoft Adoption Professionals answer questions. Question: Have you done the this course? https://adoption.microsoft.com/en-us/service-adoption-specialist/ That course is going to give you the ground level knowledge you need to get started. Good luck!672Views0likes0CommentsRe: Launching a New Org Intranet Featuring Yammer/VE for Org News
For a smaller organization of less than 500 employees, this may be the perfect way to contain their organizational news. The key to initial adoption and sustained usage is entry to the Yammer community (how will they access it) and who will determine how posts are organized for easy search. For instance: You may have three committees that are allowed to post. Each committee should create easily identifiable hashtags and should include those on each post. You'll also want to create topics within the Yammer community. Another piece of the Microsoft toolset you can leverage for them would be to create a Content Tracker List. The Content scheduler template helps you schedule and manage your content strategy. Filter down to the items that are due soon or get notifications when authors check-in their drafts. So that they don't overwhelm the Yammer community with too much news on any given day.1.1KViews1like1Comment
