SharePoint list threshold limit
Hi We run an access database connected to SharePoint online lists. One of the lists has 16000 items and I need to add an additional field (type lookup) but when trying to add this get an error saying "the attempted operation is prohibited because it exceeds the list view threshold" I can't seem to find a way to increase the 5000 threshold limit to get around this. Is the only option to removed items to get the limit under 5000 to then be able to add a field? (we can't create a new list and copy the data in as the autonumber ID from the existing list is used in the database) Any suggestions would be appreciated!1.2KViews1like2CommentsRe: Export Teams user call history
Thanks Steven, I didn't know that existed but i'll have a look, I found a solution using the eDiscovery search using Itemclass:IPM.AppointmentSnapshot.SkypeTeams.Call. as a keywork but the results are all coming up as unindexed so I can't view them otherwise that would have done it (the instructions say the call details should show as a text message)21KViews0likes0CommentsExport Teams user call history
Hi Is there a way to export the call history for individual teams users? (so you can filter on participants etc) I can view the user call history in the teams admin centre > manage users > select user > meetings & calls - but there is no option to export this? I want to view the call history between 2 teams users and the other suggestions found so far haven't worked, if anyone has a solution to export the 30 days listed in the admin centre or longer than this using the eDiscovery search please let me know 🙂Tenant to Tenant Migration
Hi, Until now when we have migrated mailboxes from one 365 tenant to another we have used the iMap migration option in the Exchange Admin Centre, created a csv of accounts and it worked fine for migrating mail over and we then used the Mover app for OneDrive files. Since the deprecation of basic authentication the above method no longer works. I have asked Microsoft for an alternative but they said they don't support this and we have to work with an associated partner with 3rd party tools to perform such tasks moving forward and there isn't anything built in we can use (which I found very odd) In the New Exchange Admin Centre > Migration there is now a migration type called Cross tenant migration, is this what we should be using now to migrate mailboxes? has anyone had experience with it as to what the end result is? and can it be used without 3rd party tools? No worries that would be great thanks again Rob! 🙂 One curve ball that has just come up is they also want to capture the customers signature as part of the process, any thoughts on that? I've seen article which implies they could use digital input to save it as an image but could that then be attached to the finished record in the list?Re: Customer Sales/Ordering Process

Hey Rob, that's excellent thank you! It's definitely along the lines of what we need, would it be possible to make multiple selections of waste types in one go without having to go back to the start? If there are sub categories of say Garden Waste would these need to be added to the main view as additional list items so would have to be in a single list? And would the app be mobile/tablet friendly in that form? Hi, I'm familiar with SharePoint but never really used Power Apps yet, any advice on whether the following is possible and how to approach building would be greatly appreciated We have been asked to digitise a waste disposal process to record on site customer transactions ideally through a power app The steps involved are: Customer turns up on site - their details are entered or searched if previously attended Operative can select from different waste types with quantities and price attached to each item A total for disposal is calculated Completed record is stored in a central list Is this possible please? Hi We currently use the IMAP migration tool in the exchange admin centre to migrate multiple 365 accounts from one tenant to another. With the deprecation of basic authentication this method stops working on tenants that have had it automatically switched off by Microsoft. Although it can be re-enabled this is only temporary until October when it is switched off for good. This being the case is there an alternative tool in the admin centre for migrating accounts or will something replace the current IMAP migration process in place/is there a way to use it with modern authentication?
