RJBalani This is because of search security trimming. All data cannot be made searchable for a new user immediately after the user is added to a site. Crawling is required to ensure that only the information available to the user is searchable. As far as I know, once you have a link in an excel workbook that links to another excel workbook, such a link is considered an external link. So technical speaking, it is not SharePoint that is treating your links as external, This excel way of telling you that there are links to other resources which is not in the same workbook. Navigate to the site settings, under the site collection administration, select Site collection features, and confirm if limited access lockdown is enabled, if enabled, disable it.39KViews1like2Comments
