SharePoint Online Modern page - Cannot create template site
This issue is driving me crazy! Why is it that I'm able to create a template on some sites and not others? Is there a way to export a site template via PhP that's easily understood by a novice SharePoint designer with very little coding experience? Say the site that I'm trying to export is: https://mysite.sharepoint.com/sites/Intranet/SitePages/Home.aspx What are all the steps involved in getting this site exported and easily imported on my SharePoint Online site if I can't create a template manually in SharePoint (option does not exist)?Autofill several columns in SharePoint list
I have two lists, "Customers" and "New order" In "Customers" I have the following list items: FirstName, LastName, Tel nr, Email, Birthday, and customer ID In the "New order" list, I have the following list items: FirstName, LastName, Email, Tel Nr, Customer ID, and Status. The Customer ID is the only unique identifier in the Customer list. With that said, upon entering a "New order" list item, I wish to autopopulate the corresponding entries (LastName, FirstName, Email, and Tel nr) when entering the Customer ID. So to be clear, I create a new item in "New order" and I enter the customer ID. This autopolulates FirstName, LastName, email, and Tel nr (data drawn from customer list). Is there a way to do this? I have the following scenario in a list which I imported from an Excel document, let's call it "Clients". All the values are made up in order to mimic the data I'm trying to manipulate. : COLUMN A COLUMN B COLUMN C COLUMN D Name of company Company ID Location City Company A S12345 Kitchen Stockholm Company A S12787 Auditorium Karlstad Company A S17474 Front desk Enskede Company A S88787 Restrooms Karlskoga Company B S88477 Hall B Stockholm Company B S87437 Hall C Stockholm Company B S74367 Hall D Stockholm Company C S34876 West wing Båstad Company C S74398 East wing Malmö etc... In column A is a list with non-unique values that are duplicated based on the number of locations our service workers have registered in Column C. Each specific area ha sits own Order ID, represented in column B. This is what I am am trying to achieve with this data. 1. A service worker creates a new object in SharePoint (A new Workorder is created with the click of button on the start page) 2. The first input field is the company. As the technician types the name of the company, I want the results to auto-populate based on the data being entered. I want the company name to only show up once in the results (and not more frequently as defined in the "Clients" document. 3. In the next step I want a drop-down menu with the automated results based on our first selection. Ie) Company is located > show results from Column B based on company name (Column A). INPUT: Company A Autopopulate dropdown selection: S12345 S12787 S17474 etc 4. Ideally, the technician should also be able to type in the client nr and autopopulate the corresponding values to that data. Ie) Technician writesS12345 in the input field for "Company ID" and the corresponding or absolute values for That specific ordernumber will autopopulate (Name, location and city). I'm looking to create a list for a client in SharePoint. What I'm trying to achieve is that when a new object is created I want a pre-defined list of clients to auto-populate a new list based on the initial selection. Ie) A service technician picks a client for a job, say Akademikliniken HJ AB. This client has several locations that need to be defined in order to submit the proper data. So my question is this, how do I create a pre-defined list where company name only shows up once and -upon selection- auto-populates a new list the various locations for that client? I hope that I'm clear. I really appreciate your help with this. Please see below for an snippet of the list I'm pulling data from.
