Re: Some Events Not Syncing With All Apps
Both of the synced 365 accounts are Business and both are configured with MFA. I do have an Outlook.com account (as a recovery email for my gmail account), but it is not synced with Calendar. I have no issues with email for the business accounts - just calendar sync. If there were security issues, I would expect to see some form of error somewhere, but it may just be that they never considered that users would need to see them. I think it would be interesting to try another calendar app to see if the same issues occur there (it would have to be using it's own sync engine though). It might help point to where the problem lies.56Views0likes1CommentRe: Some Events Not Syncing With All Apps
LisaHendrickson, I have 2 Exchange calendars, 2 Google calendars, and an iCloud calendar. All are set to sync, but it's seemingly only the Exchange ones that stop, or miss some updates for whatever reason. I should be able to trust that the calendar app is showing me everything, but since I can't, I have to use Outlook. I've just noticed though, that Outlook is not displaying repeating events from a Google shared calendar. Changing the name of the event in Apple Calendar then results in them being displayed in Outlook, although changing them back doesn't reliably get them to update in Outlook again. So at least for me, sync just seems to be unreliable.66Views0likes3CommentsRe: Some Events Not Syncing With All Apps
LisaHendrickson, that's interesting. In Apple calendar, my default calendar is set to "Selected Calendar". If you create an event on the Office365 end, does it replicate to the Apple calendar? Earlier today, I found that I was missing a handful of events in the Apple calendar, but now they are there. I did request a sync at the time, but nothing immediately happened so maybe it just took a while. I'm not wondering if I select a different calendar, do Office 365 events sync? I'd hope that it doesn't work that way - I shouldn't have to do anything to get calendars synced across. Yes, if creating them at either end I need to create them in the correct calendar. I've been doing this regularly with 3 different calendars for several years.208Views0likes5CommentsRe: Some Events Not Syncing With All Apps
I had a meeting series invitation arrive late yesterday and that hasn't appeared in Mac Calendar. I've tried restarting calaccessd, refreshing calendars from Outlook and Calendar, but nothing changes. I can create events, both single and series from both sides, with Exchange and Google calendars and they're all copied across. I can't see anything different about that invitation. I've disabled and re-enabled the Exchange account again and all events are now showing, including the one that previously wouldn't sync. I've seen suggestions of clearing potentially corrupt calendar cache, but I don't see the files they suggest to delete.56Views0likes0CommentsRe: Some Events Not Syncing With All Apps
An update. I tried killing the calaccessd process since I believe it provides for the sync capability, and when it restarted it's CPU usage went to about 40% for a couple of minutes, and the calendar was updated. I also have access to another Exchange account, which was also not updating, and the same update occurred with it as well. Next time sync stops I'll try with Google calendar as well to see whether the issue is just with Exchange, or whether it's just calaccessd hanging.57Views0likes2CommentsRe: Some Events Not Syncing With All Apps
Fingers crossed! In my case, after the last delete and re-add of the Exchange calendar, it fully loaded, and now doesn't seem to be accepting updates. I've just checked 3 or 4 recent meeting invites and nothing has been updated in the Apple Calendar. Requesting refresh does nothing.75Views0likes0CommentsRe: Some Events Not Syncing With All Apps
I'm not sure about the "new security", but MacOS and Microsoft 365 are both right up to date. Today I removed calendar from the exchange account sync and re-added it. It took some time, but all of the calendar entries populated. I then added a new event via Outlook and it didn't update in Calendar app. I changed the refresh calendars setting for the account from "Push" to "every 1 minute" and it then copied the event across. I created another event in Outlook, and another in the Calendar app, and neither has been copied across. Updates from Outlook have appeared on the iPhone app, but not the event added in the calendar app. I've tried changing the refresh setting again, but it makes no difference. So the updates in both directions don't work.54Views0likes1CommentRe: Some Events Not Syncing With All Apps
I'm not sure what "new security" means, but both MacOS and Microsoft 365 are latest versions. Not being properly setup surely would impact all events and not just some. This-morning, I went to Accounts and removed Calendar from the Exchange account in question. I then re-enabled the Calendar and events were slowly synced to the calendar view. It looks like all events have loaded, but the same thing happened a week or so ago when I deleted the account and re-added it. After some time events start to get missed. I've been through this several times now.70Views0likes3CommentsRe: Some Events Not Syncing With All Apps
Actually, one thing I noticed today is that some test events that I created in Outlook app and OWA yesterday, and deleted yesterday, are showing in Apple Calendar today. I'm not sure why the updates would be so slow on the Mac. I'm also not sure if that's what is happening when events just don't appear - maybe they're just held up somewhere? In any case, surely "Refresh Calendars" should kick that along anyway?180Views1like0CommentsRe: Some Events Not Syncing With All Apps
I have the same issue with some events not showing in the Apple Calendar app. New events created in Outlook app or OWA will appear on iPhone Calendar, but not on Mac. Events created on Mac calendar will not appear anywhere else. Events created on iPhone appear o Outlook and OWS, but not on Mac. The issue appears to be with Apple Calendar. I have recently deleted my exchange account and re-added it to try to resolve the issue, but it's clearly still there. Basically, I can't trust the Apple calendar view as some calendar updates seem to get lost. I'm not sure what asking for calendar refresh does, but it doesn't seem to invoke a full sync.245Views0likes11CommentsRe: Is there a way to see all chats at once?
I had the same issue, and yes turning off filters does return to what we had, but I too thought that having an "All'' filter would be a good thing. Sometimes, having the filtered view is useful when searching for a specific chat, but the issue is that if you have say meeting chats not in view, you can miss that updates have been made. Having "All" makes it simple to switch, without having to go into settings.1.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: modern authentication iMac Apple Mail
lecEdCoif you select "Microsoft Exchange" and then enter your hotmail address it will likely work. I used this approach for my outlook.com email and it worked. It would be nice to have a selection for the microsoft emails, but this is probably more a question for Apple.1KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Edge browser 100% CPU, requires Force Quit (macOS Mojave and v91.0.864.48)
I'm still seeing this problem with versions 105.0.1343.23 (Beta) and 106.0.1363.0 (Dev). I've tried disabling all extensions but that didn't help. I see there was mention of removing the Collections button as a potential solution, so I'm trying that but did it work in the longer term?3.8KViews0likes1CommentRe: Automatic Profile Switching in Edge: Specify domain for each profile
From what I've seen, the safelinks link does seem to include the real link in the query string, although maybe that's not always the case. If it does, then the ability to use a regex to match would suffice. At the moment, the match can only be on the web address of the link itself.2.1KViews0likes0Comments
