Full migration tenant to tenant
Hello, We currently have a tenant with several domain names, We don't have a server on premise, everything is hosted in full Cloud Microsoft 365. Tenant source have domain : @domain-A.com @domain-B.com Sharepoint Onedrive Exchange Online Azure AD / intune All users use Microsoft 365 Business Premium licenses. Some users use domain-A.com for their UPN and SMPT email address and the others the other domain. We want to migrate all users of domain-B to a new separate tenant, we need to migrate : - SharePoint site - Email - Users - Azure AD Object I was able to test the cross tenant migration E-mail https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/enterprise/cross-tenant-mailbox-migration?view=o365-worldwide, it works We are doing tests for the Onedrive part but we are currently blocked by the fixed https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/microsoft-365-docs/issues/10255 . Concerning points I see the way to go for these points and is clear with the points impacting the end users. However there remains a point of uncertainty, do we become AD Azure Users and Object Azure ? I can't find any documentation on this point, Microsoft documentations present migration scenario with a hybrid AD + with AD Connect which does not correspond to my case. I have the following problem: The users' PCs are registered in Azure AD on the tenant Source. How to migrate users/Computer Azure AD without problems? For example: Before the migration: A user has his Laptop-XX1 PC registered on Azure AD (from the source tenant) and he is logged in with his email address removed for privacy reasons account on his Windows session. Once the migration is done, the user is logon on PC Laptop-XX1 still registered on Azure AD (of the source tenant) and it's connected with his email address removed for privacy reasons account on his Windows session, How to make sure that the migration of the user does not cause any problem of connection to Windows / loss of the Windows profile ? Microsoft 365 Migration Office 365 Thanks in advance, Best regards,1.5KViews0likes3Comments
