Re: How to add Passkey for Entra ID / M365 Identity to Windows Hello or third-party password manager?
Thank you It's less comfortable. I can also use classic MFA (e.g. Authenticator app) - but I'd like to use Windows Hello. Every other website with Passkey support can use Windows Hello200Views0likes0CommentsHow to add Passkey for Entra ID / M365 Identity to Windows Hello or third-party password manager?
I manage many M365 tenants and can't add all of them to Windows as an account. Because of this I would like to add passkeys for those accounts to either a third-party password manager or (preferred) Windows Hello. So far I haven't found a way to do this. The passkey dialog at https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info only allows me to add a passkey to a physical key. So: So how can I add M365 passkeys to Windows Hello?Microsoft Defender 365 Admin Center: User vs Admin Submissions
We use the Report Message add-in (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/office-365-security/submissions-users-report-message-add-in-configure?view=o365-worldwide) to allow users to report emails. These emails are then shown as "User reported" under "Actions & Submissions, Submissions" in the Microsoft 365 Defender Admin Center. I couldn't find information if Microsoft is reviewing this emails automatically (and improving the filters if necessary) or if nothing happens until an admin submits these emails to Microsoft for analysis? Assuming this is not auto-submitted, can this be enabled?Solvedaka.ms/mfasetup: old vs new user experience
Hi On some tenants I get https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/proofup.aspx?proofup=1 when accessing https://aka.ms/mfasetup, while on others I end up at https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info I couldn't find any documentation how to control this. Also I wonder if I can manage App passwords using the new https://mysignins.microsoft.com/ and what the roadmap for the two interfaces is. Thank youMessage trace: Quarantined message: Missing instructions
Hi Please look at the screen shot: The "How to fix it" instructions are incomplete. I tried multiple browsers and checked the HTML source code. There is just text missing! Thank you for reporting this to the appropriate parties. Best regards [EDIT] I see the same for filtered messages:1.6KViews1like4CommentsAzure AD: Cross Tenant access requires multiple MFA registration?
I have an user in my home Tenant "home". This user has MFA activated. Everytime I get invited to another Tenant, e.g. "Guest1", "Guest2" I have to register for the 2nd factor on that tenant. Why is this the case? Why can't I use my "home" MFA as I do my "home" password? The usability is rather bad. Especially when one changes phones.4KViews0likes1CommentRe: Microsoft Junk E-mail Reporting Add-in for Microsoft Outlook
Hi Vasil I've been using Microsoft Junk E-mail Reporting Add-in for Microsoft Outlook®: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=18275 - as advised in a recent Ticket #:7354130. I'll remove it and use the version you suggested. Thank you Kind regards Philippe [EDIT] Uninstall seems broken: I get an error from msiesxec.exe: Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. (when running from Settings, Apps&features). I'll disable the addin in Outlook6.1KViews0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Junk E-mail Reporting Add-in for Microsoft Outlook
Hi I haven't found a better place to report a bug in the "Microsoft Junk E-mail Reporting Add-in for Microsoft Outlook". The add-in sends the message not from the current mail account but rather from the primary/default (which in my case is not an Office 365 but my business email). I would appreciate if this bug could be addressed. Thank you Philippe6.3KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Support without phone contact / Phone Case closed 24h after initial call without problem solved
Thank you again Russel. For reasons beyond my understanding the communication was sent to the "password reset" mail address. I never use that address... Sadly I also don't see the ticket details in the Admin Panel (probably because it's a phone incident). Otherwise I would have seen the ticket details. So I really hope you'll bring back email support for everyone!4.4KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Support without phone contact / Phone Case closed 24h after initial call without problem solved
RussellRead Thank you So first for me it's often very difficult to answer phones due to my work. So I really would appreciate the email option. Why wouldn't you provide that? As you suggested I've asked for communication in writing: "Hi - The attached message was tagged as phishing scam, which is not the case! The link mentioned in the mail: http://aka.ms/SafetyTipsFeedback doesn't seems to apply to Office365 but only Outlook.com - I'm currently not easy to reach on phone but I can't find a way to report this except with a call back. - Please explain why this message is considered Phishing and how this can be avoided for future mails. Thank you" ... and got immediately the call: The supporter wanted to do a remote control session. Which is absolutely useless, as I provided the mail with header as msg File - and the part about the link not really matching Office 365 doesn't any input at all...
