365 Apps not returning Device ID or Join Type
Hi all, This issue is happening on brand new install of RDS 2016 server with out of the box set up and minimal configuration for seamless sso. Device is hybrid azure ad joined, users get prt, silent sso works fine via edge/chrome/ie. The 365 apps for enterprise are not returning device ID or join type which is resulting in my CA policy to fail. It's set to require either compliant/or hybrid azure ad joined device to grant access. Device filter (exception) is failing also because no device id is reported. This is the result that is passed to Azure during silent sso on a rds 2016 server. Device info: Device ID: BLANK Browser Rich Client v3.4.1.35249 This is the CA policy Cloud apps: office 365 Conditions: any device location: any client apps: mobile apps/desktop clients Grant access: Require device to be compliant or Require hybrid azure ad joined device.AdConnect v2 Password write back with two different DC versions
Hi, has anyone run into this situation? I will be installing ADconnect on a domain member server running 2019. However, I have two DC running two different versions, 2012 and 2016. According to MS doc, To use password writeback, your Domain Controllers must be Windows Server 2016 or later I would like to enable password write back, but I'm not sure if it will work if one of them is running 2016 but the other 2012 ? Cheers!SolvedSSO to Google from Office 365 - different domains
Currently we have (contoso.com) as our domain for office 365 that is running adconnect on our on prem with hybrid aad. Identities are synced from on prem to o365, phs, and password write back. We have Gsuite on a different domain (westcontoso.org). Is it possible to set up sso from office 365 to gsuite so our users can use their o365 credentials to log in to chromebooks and android phones ? One more question, what would be the best way to test this with a gsuite in production without breaking anything ? The g suite identity is mainly used for accessing chromebooks and managing android devices. Thank you.
