Cannot see the toggle button to turn word page background to dark/light mode
Office version: Microsoft® Word for Microsoft 365 MSO (16.0.14301.20004) 32-bit (Dev Channel) After I upgraded with the latest Office, I saw the toggle button to switch between dark/light background for the Work Page itself. Unfortunately, after I restarted my machine to apply the change, I can't see that option anymore. I cam back to my Mac, upgraded my Office 365 and saw that option over there, but not on my Windows Office 365. What shall I do please to get that back?1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: To Have Upload and Download Speed on the Taskbar
Thanks Reza_Ameri for your reply, took a look at the app you mentioned but it's not really what I need as it is testing only the speed of internet. However, what I need is to monitor constantly through a notification on the taskbar of the Upload and Download bandwidth used in my PC, either it is from the internet or within my network. That way I can see on hovering on that notification, which application is using the most my bandwidth. When you open your Task Manager, in the Performance Tab, you have the Wi-fi/Eternet section showing exactly the bandwidth used in my computer by any task (Send/Receive). That monitoring tool is what I propose and suggest Microsoft to put somewhere on the Taskbar for me to see always like my Time/Date. 🙂2KViews0likes1Comment22000.71: Changing the secondary Virtual Desktop Background fail
Just updated my system to be 22000.71 and still failed. When I create a new desktop, then right-click on its thumbnail on the desktop switcher (above the taskbar), it leads me directly to personalization\Background. Then when I change the Background, it only changes the MAIN Desktop Background and not of the current desktop I'm using. I tried to right-click on the desktop as well, of the current desktop I'm using, trying to change its background, but the same issue happens: Desktop Background only affects the MAIN DESKTOP. Thank you already for fixing this. Your amazing effort made me leave MacOS and come back to Windows. It's almost a month now that I barely came back to MacOS but I'm entirely using the Bootcamp. Thank you, Team!839Views0likes3CommentsTo Have Upload and Download Speed on the Taskbar
Almost 90%, if not 98%, of Windows Users, are connected to the Internet, downloading and uploading something always. I wonder if it is possible for Windows to have this Upload and Download speed to show somewhere on the Taskbar so that we can monitor easily our bandwidth at a glance while we are working, studying or taking a break? This would be an amazing feature that would save us from getting unstable or unsafe third-party app always to do this crucial task. Thank you for considering this suggestion!2.1KViews0likes3CommentsTo be able to control Start Menu Background Transparency
I wonder if it is possible to allow us to control the transparency of the start menu. A Bonus is also to allow us to control the taskbar transparency. It will allow the start menu to stand out from the background yet not hiding it too much. Thank you for considering this suggestion.1KViews2likes3CommentsTo Show the taskbar/System tray (Time/Battery) at a glance on hovering when in app Fullscreen mode
When we share an app at full screen in a meeting (PowerPoint Presentation, YouTube, Zoom, Game, or anything else in full screen …) we get lost of the TIME or the BATTERY or the CONNECTION which are displayed on the Taskbar notification. So would it be possible to please show the taskbar/System tray briefly at a glance when hovering at the corner where it is when an app is at Full Screen so we do not have to stop or leave temporarily the Fullscreen app to see the TIME, BATTERY or CONNECTION? This is already a functionality on my Mac when we hover on the Top, so having this feature will help us NOT TO MISS MAC ANYMORE. Thank you484Views0likes0CommentsRe: optional diagnostic is grey out
It happened to me as well but what I did was: 1. I went to the registry and navigate to "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DataCollection" 2. Then Deleted the Value "AllowTelemetry" 3. Then Restarted my Machine 4. From the Run Dialog box (Windows + R), type "Services.msc" to open the services 5. Search for "Connected User Experiences and Telemetry" and see if that service is running or not. 6. If it isn't then: 6.1. Right-click on it 6.2. Click on "Properties" from the contextual menu 6.3. And in the Dialog box, you should be in the "General" Tab, so look for "Startup type" Dropdown menu 6.4. Within the menu, select "Automatic" 6.5. Click on Apply then OK. 7. Restart the computer and go to the settings again, you should be able to activate your "Optional Diagnostic" from now. Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.65 is already released. Have you tried to install that one already? It solved many of the issues I encountered on 22000.51. But if you're not in the Dev Channel, surely many cummulative updates will be coming soon in your channel 🙂12KViews0likes1Comment
