Support Update for SharePoint Framework Field Customizers in Lists and Document Libraries
Anyone seen this in teams client. I can't see any way to supress this but would hate the idéa of all my users getting this info banner. Seems related to this message center post Support Update for SharePoint Framework Field Customizers in Lists and Document Libraries [MC1094051]40Views1like0CommentsManage location sharing in Microsoft Teams
In progress of testing Windows 24H2 and found that the location service is default to "on" and that was default "off" in our earlier windows installation. It seems that Microsoft Teams default to "allow/on" and that causes Microsoft Teams application to launch a pop up to the team users. (see pic") Some information is available here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/manage-location-sharing-in-microsoft-teams-583dd649-87fc-4b23-aed6-f4e2279297f9#id0ebbd=windows But still hard to understand why it seems Teams on OS level default to "Allow/on" anyone seen this and taken any action to prevent Teams to through the pop up to all Teams users. Strange thing is we've installed Teams 3 times on a test machine and first 2 times is was "Allowed" now the 3rd time it's registry value is "prompt". HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\CapabilityAccessManager\ConsentStore\location\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe strange a clean installation can differ. Anyone know how ti should work? I've tried to find a way through Teams policy to supress the pop-up but wouldn't find any policy or settings that manage this.165Views1like1CommentRe: Breakout room issues to assign user to a room
I got this back från MS support, seems a signed in Teams free users can't be assigned. :( "Breakout Rooms do not support users with Teams Free accounts due to product limitations" "Currently, the only workaround is to use the browser in an incognito or private tab, or without signing into the browser, which will allow the user to join the Breakout Rooms." https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/3119927b-3de2-ef11-b542-6045bdb6843f525Views0likes0CommentsRe: Breakout room issues to assign user to a room

Some additional info in MC https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home?#/MessageCenter/:/messages/MC925999 "Note: Auto-release and check in does not currently support or automatically release the room for in-person meetings and non-Teams online meetings such as Zoom or Webex. These features will come soon."645Views0likes0CommentsRe: Teams Panels - check-in issues
marcel_imWell it's seems ms is sure about how the design should be my ticket is still open and they have updated this site https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/devices/check-in-and-auto-release Question: Are there any times when a user would be automatically checked in? Answer: Yes, there are. At this time, the user will be automatically checked in if the room is the organizer of the meeting, the room was invited after the meeting start time, it's a 3P meeting such as Zoom meeting, or it's an in-person meeting as in there is no online Teams link. We'll be requiring check-in for 3P and in-person meetings in the future. it's quite confusing and my guess is that places might give some answers in the future how this should work https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/places/enable-auto-release529Views0likes0CommentsRe: Teams Panels - check-in issues
We have seen it for a few months and raised a ticket with ms support without any success 😞 Please upvote this if you also have the need to be able to use check-in feature without a teams meeting https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/17a7f1db-ce7b-ef11-a4e6-000d3a02a3a11.2KViews0likes5CommentsBreakout room issues to assign user to a room
Anyone else seen issues to assign a user to a break out room? Screenshot in Swedish but the "i" say "This user can't access breakout room" At the time for testing that user was signed in to Teams with an external identity and used Edge browser. Ended meeting and rejoined and this time it worked but that is not the case all the time. Issue seems to be random. This happens quite often last couple of months, anyone seen this?1.7KViews3likes7CommentsTeams Panels - check-in issues
Hey, anyone experience issues with Teams Panels check-in feature? We have seen that the "Check-In" button on the panel is there but suddenly is dissapears. When that happens the rooms is not released and the email "Booking declined: No one checked in, so the room was automatically removed from your meeting to make it available for others." is never sent to the organizer.2.2KViews1like14Comments
