Not planned

Would be great to have this capability in order to avoid the dreaded dynamic (redir) printer names which break printer configurations in older legacy apps.  Currently end users have to manually update printer config each time they log into our terminal server.  I never hear the end of it!

Thanks for adding this request. Windows Server 2019 is missing required components in the OS to support printing to Universal Print. Therefore, there are currently no plans to add that support. At the risk of suggesting a solution you already evaluated, we highly recommend looking into Azure Virtual Desktop.
