Modern web UI is nice, but at the end of the day when it comes to mobile, apps are still king.   If the purpose of this is to replace the interaction we had on Yammer, a mobile app is a necessity.  Ease of use is critical, and navigating via browser does not give the features and interactivity that the Yammer app does. Hi,   It would be nice if you could release a Beta version of Microsoft Technical Community and those who are interested, they might join the Beta by select a checkbox in their profile and doing so would load the Microsoft Tech Community website in beta and it would have upcoming features and we could test them out and report possible bug or errors before releasing it to the public. Microsoft Tech Community is great place to share technical expertise. I'm bilingual, so usually I will love to read the original post if it's in the language I know but Microsoft Tech Community works by translating the entire webpage into the language you choose. It's kind of annoying that when I want read the post in it's original form I will need to change the language of the entire website. There are currently 4 communities in https://powerusers.microsoft.com/ which are totally independent of this environment. I think that it would be best if the techcommunity and the powerusers admins could get these 2 environments integrated/consolidated/aligned. Show the number of users subscribed to a thread, additionally, show each subscriber's username. when someone decides to subscribe to a thread, offer an option to do so anonymously. it'd show how popular a thread is. the view counter on each thread is unfortunately not an accurate measure as it actually counts page visits and even a page refresh can increase it. There is great feature in Microsoft Edge where you could install website as application, you could try it by going to ...->Apps->Install this site as an app. You practically could do this for all websites and it will work. However, you could make this website ready for it, by implementing its feature like Jump List or any other functionality where makes user experience better like having some offline browsing experience too. I would like to suggest that there should be an option to upload a video in a message in Microsoft Tech Community where the viewer would see that there is a video in the message and viewer can simply play the video by clicking the play button when the message has been opened. Do you agree it would be a great idea to have RSS feeds enabled for topic tags? Take this tag page as an example: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/tag/OneNote/tg-p It has posts from multiple blogs and communities.   I know MTC supports RSS feeds by space, but I'm looking for feeds across spaces.   On that note (!), it could be useful to allow notifications for multiple tags in one custom feed, e.g. 'OneNote', 'One Note', 'notes'. Each time I get a reply to a conversation I subscribed in, I have to reload the page in order to see that reply! The same is true for the posts, messages, likes, and all notifications in general! I suggest implementing some technologies so that we don't have to reload the page in order to see the new posts, replies, messages, and notifications. It would be great if you implement this in the community. When I see the bell icon displaying a number, I click on the bell, read one item and the bell goes blank eventhough I have not read all my notifications. It should not do this, just imagine how confusing it would be if this happened in our email inbox. The notification count shown in the bell should change as each notification item is read. In the right side of every community page there is Top contributor which list users. The current metric for top contributors is the number of likes. I have objection for this, and I believe you should revise this mechanism. Let me share you an example. In the Windows forum someone shared a CPU is not compatible with Windows 11 and several users with the same concern as it and this user becomes the Top contributors even though only visit the forum once. The Top contributor should be based on number of metrics such as:   Number of Reply Number of Questions Marked as Answer Number of Like Vote or Mark as Answer for other posts etc.   You may add value to such activities like 2 for number of replies (e.g. 10 reply = 10x2=20 point) and so on. This would be a fair method to display top contributors in each forum. With current model (based on number of likes), someone who just visited the forum and post a question with numbers of like becomes top contributor of week or months while people who actively participate and reply and answer questions never recognize because the current metric is only based on number of likes. Also note that number of likes doesn't mean you are a contributor and just mean your post is popular and it could be just one of the metrics. ... View more
