Hi Danchar, I asked Surface engineering about this and was informed that we support Microsoft SSDs (not third party SSDs) and both the 2230 and 2280 physical form factors are supported. We do not provide a 2280 256GB/512GB first party option. I hope this helps.

Hi Frank, I'm not sure if this question is beyond scope here, but can you let us know what SSD form factors are compatible with the new Surface Laptop Studio? From the Microsoft mechanics video it appears that both m.2 2230 (256GB, 512GB, 1TB) and 2280 (256GB, 512GB, 1TB, 2TB) sizes can be used.

Hi there, not sure if this is the right place to post but is there a way to repack the BMR image into an ISO and slide load the latest window updates? I've noticed that the downloadable recovery image (13_8.1100.3) is not updated. Our deployment team ends up wasting about 3-4 hours per unit at site ...
